Sir Roswell McWeatherBallons aka Swell is our beloved feline of the Month for November! And let me tell you this handsome Sphynx is quite the character! Like most Sphynx's he loves to stay warm and heat seek but this stunning man also enjoys running on his 5 foot cat wheel! However do not close the bathroom door of tell him no! We love seeing Swell and his mom when they visit!

Our beloved canine friend for the month of November is Peaches! She is one of the sweetest and most adorable border collie you have ever met! She absolutely loves playing Frisbee; so much so her parents have to hid the Frisbee from her until they get to the park. Like most she hates the Fireworks; but with some fear free medication on board she does not suffer like she has in the past. We always enjoy seeing Peaches and her silly tongue hanging out!

Our October friend of the month is the beloved Heidi! She has been so brave during her appointments here at VCA Raleigh Hills and has been so patient for her turn as our beloved canine of the month. She loves eating and going on walks and of course hiding in the couch cushions. Which we all know is the best hiding spot! Heidi does not like bright lights and loud noises and being cold. Luckily for her she has these adorable sweaters to help during Oregon's cold seasons.

We love you Heidi!

Our October feline friend is Mr. Oscar! He is such a character when he comes to visit us and is sure to tell you about his day! Some of Oscars favorite things are everyone and every animal! He is such a lover! He also enjoys talking and dreaming of going outside! Like most of our feline friends Oscar can be picky about his food and really does not like when his mom leaves the house.

We love you Oscar!

Our feline friend of the month is "Kikko"! He is just one of the sweetest kitties out there. He loves human thrones, chin scratches and of course having a large selection of foods! And like any curious cat he does not like closed doors.

Our canine friend of the month is the sweetest "Wendy Moira Angela Darling" she loves swimming, tug of war, and baths! And of course loves people more than dogs. Like any party animal she hates going to bed at night and those scary rocking chairs!

The rain didn't stop us! We had a great time at the Oregon Humane Society's Doggie Dash last weekend! It was fun to see all the dogs walking and running with their pet parents! Thanks to all of you that stopped by to say hello and grabbed a drink at our hydration stations! We've missed you!

This past weekend a team of our VCA doctors helped the Humane Society of Southwest Washington with their spay and neuter procedures. This partnership not only helps the shelter animals get the medical care they need to be placed in homes faster, but also helps our doctors gain valuable surgical experience. We had four doctors participate in the clinic along with four outstanding members of our veterinary technician team. At VCA we put the future of veterinary medicine first and constantly strive to improve our skills and be the best possible medical team for you and your pets. Great job all!
