Cloud resting after a lesson. Cloud was adopted 3 months ago and prior to that was a dog living on the streets in Texas. He's a . He has come so far and looks amazing now. When he first got to his - he was super skinny, patch fur and irritated skin. His new mom and dad are simply ahhhh-ma-zing!

Now, two weeks on the chicken Rawabble, and Lexi has more energy, less anxiety, and is getting in shape.

Weight loss? Lexi just started with her new food and is seeing results and has tons more energy. She is on Bixbi Rawbble dog food which is only 202 kcals per cup. Go Lexi!!!

Sometimes with rescues you have to go slow and introduce them slowly to you and their new home. This is a great video showing a slow introduction and helping this rescued mother of pups, gain more confidence and raise her threshold for fear and anxiety of people and a new environment, slowly.

Question for you all…
One of my clients has Pumpkin Pet Insurance ( Pumpkin Pet ). The insurance company is making it difficult every time a claim is filed. The doctors’ office and owner are having to jump through hoops to get something that should be covered, paid. It has been frustrating and time consuming.

What pet insurance do you have that has been easy to use?

Dogs and kids are like ice cream and sprinkles. It works unless you don't like the sprinkles taste, texture or mixing with your ice cream. Okay, probably a ridiculous comparison, but it is important to be able to understand body language in humans and dogs when you are training. It is also a matter of safety when kids are around dogs, to understand what your pet is physically saying to you about his or her interaction with children. There are many publications and picture prompts that try to help you learn to identify specific body language cues, but they are guidelines. You can’t begin to decipher complex non-verbal cues without taking into account what’s happening in the small snapshot of the world you are trying to decip...

Meet Rolo. He needs a new home. His current owner’s circumstances have changed.

Rolo is a wonderful @ 2.6 year old boy with lots of endurance. He’s super smart and deserves a great home and people who will love him. He’s a cuddler. He loves other dogs and plays well with them. He is crate trained. He likes cats. He is good with adults and kids. He has been great with all breeds/sizes of dogs at play-care.

He loves car rides and enjoys and thrives with big outdoor adventures. He’s great in mountains, snow, rivers, beaches, etc… Solid off leash with leadership.

It is not urgent for a new home, but would like to find the right home.

He needs to have active humans and will probably not take too long to get used to a new home. I love him and would like to have some visitation, but understand the best home does not necessarily mean that will work.

There will be a rehoming fee. The fee is to make sure the people taking Rolo will spend the money on him and have the resources for his care. I will want to do home visits etc…
