We were robbed tonight. At gunpoint. During open hours. Everyone and every animal is okay. However, our manager Kavi, was assaulted and Nyko witnessed everything. A shot was fired and everyone was traumatized.

I'd love it yall could bring well wishes for Kavi, who will be off to recover the next few days, and Nyko.

Cards, pictures of your pets, flowers from your garden. Anything that reminds her that Montavilla can be a safe, loving place.

We will be closing early on Tuesday for Christmas Eve & closed all day Wednesday for Christmas Day!

No... it's not tiny Moo Dengs, it's one week old rat pups. Chicken had her babies last week. 13 healthy little miniature hippos. Some of these cuties will be available for adoption through the shop.
