Last years can collab fundraiser was such a big hit, so when Shaun at and Trevor at reached out about another round, we had to say hell yes!

Today kicks off National Veterinary Receptionist Week.✨
Our team of Client Service Representatives is the heartbeat of our clinic.💗 They are the individuals that manage every phone call, email, and inquiry. They advise our clients and are the first in line in the coordination of our patient’s care. And believe us, the coordination at our hospital is no small undertaking as many of our patient’s require consideration and planning in their veterinary care. They are empathetic, patient and kind and we wouldn’t be able to provide the level of care we do without them.
Veterinary Receptionists/Client Service Representatives are often the unsung heroes of our profession and we appreciate our team so much! 💙 Flowers & caffeine from our team of veterinarians to express gratitude to this amazing crew! 🌷☕️

We love getting photo updates of our patients at home, especially ones like these.
Ari was recently diagnosed with diabetes, and in order to monitor his blood sugar, he was fitted with a glucose monitoring device…which he kept trying to remove himself!

To keep the device in place, Ari’s wonderful guardian decided it was time to step up his fashion game. He clearly had some strong opinions about the new clothes at first, but swipe to the other photo and I think it’s safe to say he’s feeling quite fabulous 🥰

Heads up that we will be closed this coming Saturday for an exciting (to us at least) upgrade - a new front desk!

Our current reception desk only has space for 2 people, causing our hardworking client service team to be scattered around the clinic wherever there’s an open spot 🫠 which after a few years has gotten a bit chaotic.

We’re looking forward to the whole reception team finally being able to sit and work together!

We will return to normal business hours on Monday the 17th, but if your pet needs urgent care over the weekend, click the link in our bio for a comprehensive list of urgent and ER clinics in the area.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and detailed-oriented individual, with a desire to learn and develop skills to join our clinic as a full-time Certified Veterinary Technician supporting 4+ veterinarians. There is potential for growth in this position as a Lead Technician!

In addition to the requirements listed below, the ideal candidate must have compassion for both animals and people, ability to work closely with a team, and impeccable communication skills.

Requirements:
+ High school diploma or equivalent
+ Must be a licensed technician in the state of OR (or in the process of transferring license from other state)
+ Minimum of 1 year experience working in a small animal veterinary hospital
+ Reliability

If you are concerned your cat has symptoms AND has risk factors for exposure, please call us so we can help guide you on next steps. Currently, it is recommended that cats should not be fed any products that have not been thoroughly cooked or pasteurized. Cats should also be kept from hunting and consuming wild birds.🐈

Cats, including both domestic and wild cats, are particularly sensitive to H5N1 avian influenza, and care should be taken not to expose these animals to the virus. Dogs can also contract H5N1, although they appear less susceptible to the virus than cats.

Charlie used to be *very* nervous and shut down during his vet visits, but his mom and our team have worked hard over the last two years to help get him more comfortable with us.
For Charlie, and most dogs, this process includes trialing multiple different anxiety medications, utilizing positive reinforcement training/handling at home, the flexibility of our team to try new things like different exam rooms or areas of the clinic, and allowing Charlie to tell us what he’s comfortable with!

At his most recent exam, Charlie was confident and sweet, and he calmly allowed a full physical exam - including his ears and teeth and abdominal palpation 😭 He of course got ALL the treats too.
