For the hope of it all, it's time to get Swiftie home. 🏡 Swiftie has been at OHS for 2️⃣ 1️⃣ 0️⃣ days. She is a sweet girl who is looking for a home to enjoy some sunbathing and playtime. ❤️
OHS will provide support for Swiftie's diabetic condition for one year post adoption at our Community Vet Hospital, including medications, rechecks and lab work.
She came to the shelter through the Friends Forever program. In the event a person can no longer care for their pet., this secures the pet's future and brings them to OHS.

Yo-Yo the cat was one of the reasons animal lover, Paul Manka, was inspired to give himself peace of mind for the future. ❤️

More than two dozen dogs and puppies arrived today at Oregon Humane Society. 🐶 In partnership with the ASPCA, the animals flew from Humane Society of Lincoln County, Ruidoso, NM
Flooding caused by the wildfire season quickly made Humane Society of Lincoln County at critical capacity. This transfer helps them free up needed space to take in animals displaced due to natural disasters.

Wesley was first adopted from OHS 8 years ago. As he got older, he started to not get along with the other cat in the home and began picking fights.
Wesley's family loved him very much and knew it was time for him to be a different home where he could be happier. He now needed a quiet home where he could be the only cat living there. ❤️
He worked with the trainers in our Behavior Modification program and started to overcome his fearful behavior. Now, he lives like a prince in a home all to himself. 🏡 😻 👏

helped rescue 19 dogs along with the Dalles Police Department’s Animal Control Officer and Columbia Gorge Humane Society
They were rescued from a remote area where the Larch Creek fire was heading their way and were transported to OHS immediately.
Our staff is working with each dog to determine when they will be ready for adoption.
These dogs were able to receive medical care, have food + water, and a safe place to recover because of your support. ❤️

Maisy was on the team and got adopted! 🐾❤️ Her adopters say, "Maisy is doing well! My family and I are extremely lucky to have found her and adopted her."
Churchill the husky 🐺 and Bertie the kitty 😻 from Ryan's team are still available to adopt! Like their pal Maisy, they will each receive a six-month “sponsorship”, including free dog or cat food 🐶, courtesy of , as long as they are adopted now through the Closing Ceremonies on August 11.
