Two of our most recent puppy social graduates!

Ranger the German shepherd, and Tener the Husky had the chance to learn some really nice play skills during puppy socials! Their humans also learned about puppy body language, how to carefully introduce puppies to new stimuli, and more!

We’ll miss seeing these two every week!

Spike (lab) and Sophie practiced their awesome leave it skills tonight during kinderpuppy 1! Sophie was able to put some animation to the food and spike wasn’t even fazed! Nice job team spike!

Our Basic Manners is for puppies and dogs 5 months and up who have not taken a formal class or who could use a refresher course! We cover sit, down, attention, polite greetings, loose leash walking, settle, and handling/grooming. This class is not appropriate for dogs who bark or lunge at other dogs

It’s bitter sweet to see these Frances ( Left), Miles (right) and their owners graduate from our socials!

We’ve been lucky enough to see them pretty much every week since they were 8 weeks old!

During puppy social puppy parents learned how to do consent tests with their dogs, how to read puppy play, how to safely and properly socialize their puppies to new stimulation, and more!

Puppies learned appropriate play and communication skills, positive exposure to people and handling, and general confidence building.

During class Cedar practiced her “leave it” skills with common house hold objects. Her dad did a great job setting her up for success by slowly increasing the difficulty for Cedar. Nice job team Cedar! 👏🌟

Our Wednesday night KP1 class put their skills to work! In this exercise puppies took turns practicing settle or loose leash walking while ignoring the puppies around them. These are very difficult things to do! We are so proud of all the puppies and their parents! Great work!!

🌟Special shout out to Gus (chihuahua/ pit) and his guardian Max!! Gus has been working hard to feel comfortable around puppies. As you can see, Gus was unfazed by the puppies on either side of him. Nice job Gus and Max!!🌟
