Bonded pair alert! Also handsome boys alert! And you know what, another alert for just a really great couple of cats!

These two are Day Day and Sir Louie, a bonded pair of 9 year old male purebred ragdoll cats. They are very sweet, gentle souls who are looking for a peaceful home to settle down in. Day Day is the more outgoing of the two, while Sir Louie prefers a slower approach. They both enjoy belly rubs and being held (in true ragdoll fashion).

Day Day and Sir Louie seem to do well with other cats, but are mostly uninterested in any cats besides each other. They also have been known to be frightened of dogs and children, and thus would prefer to live with neither in their next home. Meet Pippin! A Tiny Shadow with a gentle heart

Pippin is a delightfully quirky little dog with a heart full of love…once she’s ready to share it. At 6 years old, this sweet black Chihuahua is equal parts shy shadow and couch snuggler. She may take a little time to warm up, often seeking comfort in her crate as she adjusts to new surroundings. But with a bit of patience and a lot of kindness, Pippin blossoms into a deeply affectionate companion who adores lap time, gentle affection, and her favorite toys.

She may bark a bit when people first come over, but she’s learning to settle more easily, especially when she has access to her kennel or can cuddle up on someone’s lap. Pippin is all up to date on her medical needs, even got a full dental at The Pixie Project.

She’s crate-trained, content in an x-pen when home alone, and does well on a leash. While she prefers being the center of attention, she has peacefully coexisted in her foster home with a mellow, senior small dog. She’s not a candidate for homes with young children.

Pippin would do best in a quiet, adult-only home with a calm environment. A quieter neighborhood would be ideal, while she doesn’t react to every little noise outside, she might become overwhelmed in a very busy or high-traffic area. Her foster family hasn’t noticed any signs of separation anxiety-related barking, and neighbors haven’t reported hearing her when she’s left alone during the day.

Hi! My name is Poppit and I am so excited to meet you!

I am an 8 month old, female kitten, and I am hoping to find a nice family to give me lots of attention and love! My friends at the shelter say that I am extroverted and social, but also a great cuddler. I really love my stuffies, and will definitely come to you with a few of my favorites friends (such as Mr Fish and Fluffy Mouse). I am not a big fan of other kitties, but that’s ok, I’m all the cat you’ll ever need – trust me!

Bonded pair alert! Double the love, double the joy! Bobo (13) and Oreo (12) are a devoted, inseparable pair who have spent their whole lives side by side, and now they’re ready to find their next chapter together.

Bobo is a spritely Chihuahua/Pomeranian mix with a gentle heart and wise little eyes. Don’t let his age fool you—he still enjoys short strolls and being right by your side. His favorite pastime? Curling up on a cozy blanket and keeping watch over his best friend, Oreo.

Oreo, a fluffy Shih Tzu/Maltese mix, is the yin to Bobo’s yang. At 12 years old, he’s sweet-natured, affectionate, and happiest when nestled close. With his soft coat and tender personality, he’s the perfect snuggle buddy on a quiet evening.

This is one well-educated kitty! Meet our little prodigy, Dr. Onion. Why is she a prodigy? Well, not many 1 year olds can claim to hold a doctoral degree…. Aside from being a baby genius, Dr.Onion also excels in the usual adorable cat behavior. Playing with toys, exploring her home, purring and biscuit making, and, of course, being a cutie-patootie!

Please help us say a huge Thank You to the amazing crew at Wally & Son Automotive Service & Repair for sponsoring a busy surgery day at Pixie! Thanks to their support, we were able to perform an additional 6 spay/neuter surgeries and fifteen exams for shelter animals!

Our Pixie clinic helps us say 'yes' to the cats and dogs that other shelters often turn away, including seniors and animals with medical needs. We're able to perform our own spay/neuter surgeries and make sure that our animals have any issues addressed PRIOR TO ADOPTION--all of our adoptable seniors have diagnostic blood panels, senior cats and dogs receive necessary dental care--ensuring that we can confidently find the perfect families for our adoptable animals without passing on immediate, unexpected veterinary costs.

Geeze Louise! We got a large lady looking for love over here! Louise is a cat that knows what she wants, and the list goes as follows: endless love, endless treats, and lots soft surfaces. She is around 2 years old and due to her luxurious figure we do recommend her staying on a lower calorie diet for the time being. She did come from a home with cats and dogs but seems to prefer that other cats keep their distance from her. What can we say, she likes her space.

Introducing our delicate little flower: Lotus! Lotus is a 2 year old female, looking for a kind human to help her blossom. Not much is known about her past, but what we have learned in her time with us is that she is a sweet little kitty who is full of love. As she has grown in confidence, we have also learned that she loooooves to play, and will happily chase a ball or crinkle toy around for hours. Her foster says that she is “very sweet and likes to be near people and purr, but she is not too clingy”. She has lived with other cats before, but we are unsure if she would like to do so again.

Gus Gus: a name so nice… you say it twice!

Meet Gus Gus. A charming 1 year old male tabby with a sweet and goofy disposition. Gus looooooves to play, and has plenty of energy to bring into his next home. He’s not a total maniac though, as he also loves to flop over for belly rubs and enjoys getting some good snuggles from his people. Gus Gus has shown interest in other cats, dogs, and kids (though he can come on a little strong) and we think he could probably do well in a variety of homes.

Laci (*in foster*) is the Pixie Project's CEO of Naps & Snacks!

Laci is 11 lbs of lounging! Rotund and always ready for a nap, Laci enjoys the finer things in life… who can blame her? One of the most relaxed cats we’ve had in a while, the beautiful Laci is always on the lookout for the comfiest bed. She can easily be lured out of naptime with the promise of cuddles, head butts and some crunchy treats but the combination of all three may be the greatest thing since sliced bread, according to Laci.

From her foster: “She’s a very calm cat. She definitely loves napping, she’s not a snuggler but she likes being as close as possible or just hanging out near me. She’s very ladylike, but she does love playing with anything that dangles! I use yarn and a feather toy. She’s also a perfect loaf!! She’s really the cutest.”

Tall, dark, and handsome – that’s our kitty Gordo! This guy is a 4 year old male, with a luxurious fluffy coat and enchanting green eyes. But he’s more than a pretty face, he is also a gentle dude with an appreciation for being pet, being brushed, and making new friends! Gordo comes from a home with another kitty, but would also do fine as a solo cat. Also, we think that he likes kids, but is unsure about dogs.
