Who doesn’t love to indulge in the sweeter things in life? And this luscious little treat is sure to satiate anyone’s sweet tooth. With his long, beautiful coat he would love an owner who will help him to keep looking his best with some regular brushing. Brownie is a 4 year old male and for a big cat has the tiniest cutest squeak for a meow. He prefers people to other animals and would likely do best in a home without other pets. She is super friendly and quick to warm up to pets, so we think she’ll be a total snuggle bug on the couch. Normally we focus on cats and dogs here at the Pixie Project, but when a baked potato showed up at our door, we couldn’t say no! Meet Grace, the 2 years old, 40 pounds, bully mix! The perfect mix of playful and cuddly, Grace brings joy to everyone she meets; from all her shelter friends to the people on the streets! When out on walks, you’ll surely encounter fawning passers-by-ers appreciating her abundant rolls and underbite. Grace is an excited little lady with a spirited and sweet personality. She would love to play fetch with anyone who will throw a ball for her, followed by kisses and cuddles! 

Because Grace is still a sweet young lady, puppy classes are required to set her up for the best life possible! Her friends at the shelter say that she’s a motivated and fast learner, especially if cuddles are offered afterward. Grace has done well with other cats and dogs at the shelter, but can be a bit shy with her canine friends. She would do great in a home with animal friends who are willing to go slowly with her. With cuts at the county level for stray and abandoned cats, we're caring for more cats and kittens than we ever have before. If you can help, we're asking for donations to help us stretch our resources as far as we can! We especially can use canned cat food (any brand/flavor/size), churu treats, and towels. Magpies are considered very intelligent creatures, and you could be lumped in with that group if you made the wise decision to come over and meet this kewl cat. Magpie is a 4 year old domestic short hair female. She loves to burrow into a warm cozy bed or soft plushy blankets, and she would likely make quite the cuddle bug. She tends to take a little to warm up to new friends and surroundings but has such a sweet demeanor, we know once she is settled she will make a great companion. Hi there, I’m pleased to meet your acquaintance. Halloumi is can be one tasty snack but in this case, she is one purrfect cat! She is an eye catching torbie, with a very striking coat. Halloumi is about 2 years old and has been around other cats before but seems to be just fine flying solo too. She came to us as a very young mama cat, who likely never got to be much of a kitten herself and still has lots of fun playful energy.

This darling little angel has fallen into our shelter and stolen our hearts. Rosy is a lady who knows what she wants and that mostly entails a very comfy, cozy place to rest her bones. She is independent and curious and has enjoyed exploring the Pixie palace. Shen tends to stay to herself but could likely live with another kitty if they are respectful of boundaries and not too rambunctious. Rosy is a domestic short hair female around 11 years old. This beautiful pair of siblings are named Jadis and Reaver! From the moment we met them we have been captivated by their big beautiful eyes and their incredibly soft fur. They are around 5 months old and were brought in as strays — they started off on the shy side, but after just a few days of life in the shelter they have settled right in!

It’s such a delight to spend time with Jadis and Reaver. They both have a quiet, low-key vibe and love being held like babies, being pampurred, and getting all the butt scritches and belly rubs. They haven’t shown us that they are the most active or playful kittens, but rather would love lounging around with you and soaking up the sunshine rays. Maybe you can teach them how to chase a laser pointer or show them the joys of a window perch! 

They would prefer a home that’s on the more quiet side – preferably no other cats or dogs. Cat-savvy kiddos would be okay, though!

Hello my name is Eloise and I can’t wait to be your summer adventure buddy!

I am a 4-month old adorable little Pittie Mix weighing 33 pounds. All my friends at the shelter are obsessed with me, I am incredibly sweet and get along beautifully with other dogs. I’ve already made besties with a big malamute at the shelter, I can’t wait to find out who else I get to befriend! I would love nothing more than to be your cuddly buddy, or accompany you on adventures – maybe we can go to the beach!?

I’m truly social and I love everybody, but if you have kiddos, I might knock them over (and give them a kiss)! When it comes to kitties – I definitely don’t want to eat them, but I probably shouldn’t live with them.

I will also need to go to a house that has a fenced yard, and because I’m under 2 years old, obedience puppy classes are required for me!

We think any day would instantly get better with a Doris in it. Doris is a real doll and we can’t wait for you to be starstruck by this dazzling cat. Skedaddle is a 1 year old, male, domestic shorthair. His mostly white coat with brown, tabby-like markings is undeniably stunning. He is a friendly guy, he’ll hop up to greet new visitors and share a rub against your legs, but he’ll also explore his surroundings on his own. Oleta is small chihuahua mix and appreciate the cozy things in life, cream cheese, and socializing with her favorite people.
