Even if you're expecting a package, don't click the links! Go to the carrier's website directly or to the page for the company you've purchased from. DON'T BE A VICTIM!

What a difference four months makes.... Kova Kai came to us as a rescue. She wasn't from an overly abusive home as far as we can tell, but she was severely underweight due to having two litters in one season. She also was losing both her coats. Now she is sitting at a healthy weight and her coats are coming in nicely. Remember: Rescue, don't buy!

After wanting to for a LONG time, I finally picked up a Wisdom Panel DNA test for Timber on Black Friday. Today we got the results. Nothing particularly surprising, although I figured the Malamute percentage was going to be a lot higher. We're glad to find out he's not predisposed to any major medical issues, though. Yay! Now we need to get the other two done....

Our pups usually get a bully slice after dinner. Lately they have been gulping them down SO quickly. For Christmas, I picked up some beef collagen sticks from Red Barn and put them in their stocking. I think they're a hit!

Look how healthy our little rescue girl is getting! She went from looking like a thin little bobble head pup to a fluffy floof.
She is settling in so well with our pack. She is SO smart and probably the sweetest natured dog we've had. We love our Kova Kai and can't wait to see the difference when her coat has completely grown back.
