🐾To all of our followers🐾
We’ve decided to go a different route with this business! I have accepted a job at Ridgeside K9 New England and will no longer be operating on my own as Jake Fraser Dog Training. These guys got me into the world of dogs and I’m happy to see it all come full circle, helping as many New England loving dog owners as we can.
As for existing clients seeing this, I’m not going anywhere and am still a phone call away! All of the same services will be available plus many many more!!!
Big thank you to the overwhelming support and trust you have put in myself over the last few years. Grateful and excited for this amazing opportunity! Let’s go train some dawgz🐾

Roscoe the rescue came to us in desperate need of impulse control when it came to chasing cars and dogs. We all decided that going to the “crime scene” where these unwanted behaviors continued to happened was the best spot for his turnover and he impressed us all. Teaching him the value within myself and now his owners, he’ll have a reliable recall and be able to safely enjoy all the adventures his owners take him on🐾

Milo is back home and working through those puppy pains with his owners. Clear communication has been established on what’s allowed and what’s not. Redirecting his biting and putting to use the obedience he’s built is going to give everyone some piece of mind and let them fully enjoy this good boy for a long, happy life🐾🐶
We’ll see him when he comes back for his adult portion of his training journey!

Some “place” work downtown with 4 month old Milo. These are some of the things your pup will experience towards the end of their board and train. Desensitization to people, dogs, cars, loud noises and the chaos life throws at us. We got Milo to focus on the task at hand which is hangout on the place cot. Working this is giving him a chance to experience these things happening around him and have a more neutral response.

Monkey see monkey do🐒
Had our personal dog tag along for Milo’s first day back out in public. Milo was unsure of the flat top shopping cart until he saw Beau sitting up there. Getting over those nerves and jumping up on a wet and unsteady surface is something most pups struggle with. Once he realized there was nothing to fear and this was actually fun, he was on and off no problem. Step out of that comfort zone… Confidence BOOSTED👊🏼🐾

Titus came for his puppy program seeking guidance on how to best blend into his forever family. Being extremely food motivated we were able to quickly show him what best benefits Titus and that was looking to me and now the owners for guidance. With an obedience foundation set in place, his owner will be able to navigate those puppy pains much easier.
Looking forward to getting him back for the adult portion of training and advancing his skills even further🐾

Miss Sadie has done a complete 180 in the last two weeks. Being a hound and having that nose to the ground mindset whenever she stepped outside, grabbing that attention and showing her what’s more important was a ton of work. Being mindful of the breed but also not creating excuses, we were able to show her who the most important thing/person was and that’s the handler. She’ll now be able to spend the day at work with Dad and enjoy her evening walks with Mom with ease. Great job guys🐾🐾

Two months ago we welcomed Koda into our home. Our paths crossed originally for training but once we got eyes on her we quickly realized the issues she was having was solely from her current living situation.
Instead of being surrendered to a shelter we decided to help get her back on her feet. With the help of Lucky Dog Thrift Shop we were able to get her the care she needed. She was able to overcome her nasty habit of eating her own f***s, along with putting on 15+ pounds of much needed weight. She also completed a lengthy obedience program that helped give her the confidence boost she needed.
Koda has now found her forever home and we couldn’t be happier! Best of luck to her new owners and congratulations🐾

With two older dogs in the house, Maverick needed to learn some new behavior’s instead of picking on them all day long. You can’t teach a puppy to not be a puppy, but you can teach a puppy obedience… Understanding verbal and E-collar markers for good and bad behaviors, along with giving him different tasks to do, we were able to occupy that puppy brain and keep him out of trouble🐾

In just a week we were able to use the energy and focus Toby put towards his reactivity, into a much more desirable behavior. Before this week he looked/acted exactly like the reactive white pup that slowly gets dragged off the screen lol Another week to go for him and his sister🐾

🐾Rescue’s Lilly & Balin🐾
3 months of hard work paying off today. Lilly & Balin were scared of everything except each other. They trusted no one and if they had the choice would still be hidden away in their crates. We separated them and peeled back each layer of insecurity and fear they had, while at the same time giving them the confidence boost training has to offer. These pups will always be a work in progress but celebrating small victories got us to the point we reached today (last part of the video) Loving life and enjoying this milestone moment of off-leash freedom. Looking forward to getting these guys back to their forever home and loving owners! Yes we’re on TikTok and yes our dogs are wearing sweaters🐶🎄

Working through reactivity with Shillelagh but more importantly the owner. I knew at the turnover she was feeling overwhelmed so we scheduled a follow up session, focusing on her timing with commands, leash pressure and E-collar use. Being on the opposite end of a leash attached to a reactive dog SUCKS and can be super overwhelming. Revisiting some basics and reinforcing boundaries, she was able to work through the variety of our dogs that we had here.
