🐾 With kennel cough season approaching & the holidays near, we would like to take a second to remind everyone of our vaccine requirements & our kennel cough preventatives here at Camp K-9.

Vaccines we require are the following:

✨Rabies
✨DHPP
✨Bordetella (Kennel Cough)
✨Negative Full Panel F***l Examination

🐾We ask that ALL clients prior to training, daycare or boarding let us know of any coughing, sneezing, discharge from the eyes or nose, trouble breathing, fatigue & if your pet has been to another facility with in the past two weeks prior to staying with us. Kennel cough is very contagious & can be transferred to your pet through contact of clothing, toys, walking past another dog with kennel cough, dog friendly stores, community dog water bowls & dog parks.

✨PER our policy if they have these symptoms or have been to another facility with in the last two weeks we will NOT be able to take them for boarding, daycare or training. As we do NOT want to put our other clients at potential risk!

🐾 Our dedicated staff are using the best of the best kennel cleaner on the market. Our cleaning protocols are to clean & disinfect all areas of our facility every day ALL day. EVERY dogs kennel is CLEANED/DISINFECTED EVERY DAY. Indoor & outdoor areas as well as sanitation of all slip leads,laundry, food & water bowls, etc. Last fall we also invested in state of the art air purifiers that kill ALL air born viruses (such as kennel cough). Our staff is educated on the symptoms and is always vigilant in looking for signs of illness in our guests. ( Please make sure your emergency contact for pick up information is up to date at check in)

💥 Meet our trainers! 💥We are incredibly blessed at camp K9 to have a team of such talented knowledgeable trainers. 💥Nick💥 is one of the owners of Camp K9 as well as our head Master Dog Trainer. He has been with us since our doors opened. Nick has many years of experience in this industry as well as many accreditations. Your dogs health, safety & well-being is his top priority. 💥Shaun💥 is one of our certified dog trainers. Shaun has been at Camp K9 since 2019 and is very knowledgeable when it comes to the dogs in our care. Caring for and training dogs has truly been a joy, not just a job for Shaun. 💥Alicia💥is one of our certified dog trainers here at Camp K-9. She had been with us in 2015 & returned to us in fall of 2022. She has been in the animal industry off & on for the last ten years. Alicia lives & breathes dogs. Before becoming a dog trainer she worked as a veterinary assistant in veterinary hospitals & as a kennel hand. 🐾During our private lesson & board and train programs, we provide personalized attention and training to each dog while always ensuring they have an enjoyable and relaxing stay full of learning, enrichment and exercise!
