Thank you to all the pups that joined us for Spring Break! We welcome everyone into our home and did our best to make them feel safe and loved! Overall everyone had a great time and made new friends, got plenty of exercise and went home with hearts full, ready to sleep for days 💛💛😘🥰

We became a second home for Oskar while his dad took care of his mom in the ICU. We are deeply saddened that she has left us!

Here is the FB post announcing her passing:

The world is a decidedly less colorful place today. Our beautiful, brilliant, magical, and magnanimous mother passed away peacefully on August 2nd surrounded in love by her family. She will be remembered for her boisterous laugh, impeccably timed wit, immeasurable generosity of spirit, creativity, an ability to forge a connection with everyone whose path she crossed, deep affection for downtrodden rescue animals, and most of all - her love for our dad (54 years of marriage next week), her three children, and five grandchildren. Her capacity for love was boundless. Lucky for us all- she never ever missed an opportunity to express it. We miss her beyond measure.

If you are so inclined to make a donation in her memory, we suggest the following charities near and dear to her heart: the Cat Network of St. Louis and the National Council of Jewish Women.

We mourn the loss of our dear friend Mrs Diane Schweber! We have been taking care of her sweet baby girl Dani since she was a puppy and we will miss her mom more than words can express!
