Facebook memories can be heartbreaking, sweet girl Sally has been gone quite a while now...

Missing My Hound Girl Sally Today. She was always a Lone runner, out on the fringes, away from Myself and the Other Hounds Mostly Quiet, She seemed to just glide along effortlessly, on her Long slender legs, and though I would rarely see her while she was out, She was paying attention and Usually came in on time,.... Usually. How I wish I could have restored her Youth and her Freedom to run, That was stolen from her in the end. But I Held her close these last few months, and found we had a strong Bond I had not realized. This is how I will Always Remember Sally , Bounding along effortlessly Off on her Own Adventure, That she Finally shared with me in the End

Michael Harris, a 57-year-old homeless man in Jackson, Mississippi, risked everything when the Pearl River flooded. While others evacuated, he stayed behind in an abandoned garage with dogs left to drown.

He tied leashes to his belt, carried them through waist-high water, and pulled them into makeshift rafts. Hour after hour, he returned to flooded streets and porches, guided only by desperate barks.

For three days, he kept thirty dogs alive, sharing the little food and warmth he had. Rescue teams finally reached him and found every dog shivering, tired, but safe.

When asked why he stayed, Michael gave a simple answer: "They would've stayed for me." His words and his courage revealed a bond stronger than fear, turning a disaster into proof of loyalty and compassion.

🌠✨ A Double Sky Spectacle Tonight! ✨🌠

🔭 Two celestial events will light up the night sky:

1️⃣ The Final Traces of the Perseid Meteor Shower

From midnight until dawn, look up to see the last streaks of the famous Perseids. Known as one of the brightest and most colorful meteor showers of the year, these meteors race across the sky, leaving dazzling trails of light as they burn up in Earth’s atmosphere. 🌠

2️⃣ A Rare “Black Moon”
Just before dawn, the Moon will completely disappear from view in what astronomers call a Black Moon. With no moonlight to interfere, the skies will be darker than usual, revealing the Milky Way in its most vivid and breathtaking form. 🌑🌌

🌍 How to Watch:
• Get away from city lights for the best view.
• Allow your eyes 15–20 minutes to adjust to the darkness.
• No telescope needed — the show is visible to the naked eye.
• For photographers: use a wide-angle lens and long exposure to capture the beauty. 📸

⚡️ This rare combination of events makes tonight truly unforgettable — meteors streaking through a moonless sky, with the Milky Way shining brighter than ever.

✨ Don’t miss it — the universe is putting on a show just for you!
