PUPDATE ON TROUBLE
Trouble has been doing AMAZING with his furever family! He wanted to make sure everyone saw his favorite hoodie, and don’t forget to check out his good side!(every side is his goodside)He also wanted to show you the selfie he took with his dad!

Well, today was the day! After 845 days in the shelter and watching 268 other dogs be adopted before her.. it is finally her turn.

We will miss you so much but we know that you have such a bright, fun filled life ahead of you. We will never forget your morning awoos and your amazing cuddles!

and thank you Sara, for being such a perfect fit for our perfect girl! You were just who she has been waiting for!

What do 1 cat, 2 fair-sized dogs, one really little dog and 1 hound have in common? They are all 7 years old or older and qualify for our "Seniors for Seniors" program. Munchkin the cat, Leroy the hound, King, our handsome who knows what, Striker our Lab/Retriever nix, and Mocha, our Mini Pinscher mix. All qualified adopters are welcome, of course, but for those adopters 60 years old or older, our adoption fee is waived. Interested in offering an older pet a good home? Give us a call: 315-265-3199

To our fantastic community members who are always helping us: We are currently running very low on PATE canned food for cats.

Though we take any type of canned cat food, we would greatly appreciate donations of pate specifically, since it is the easiest type to feed the cats and kittens in the shelter!

Thank you for all the shoes we have gotten so far!! The shoe drive is also still running, and you can also still guess how many pounds of shoes we will have at the end! (The last day for both is October 31st)

Did you know our Shoe Drive has started again?

This time last year we collected 3793 pounds of shoes… how many pounds do you think we receive during this round? Share this post and then comment your guess below of the total weight. The closest guess at the end of the drive will win a gift certificate to our grooming center next door!

We will be accepting donations of gently used shoes until October 31st! The donation collection bins are marked and can be found to the left of our shelter entrance.
