17 years ago today a legend was born!

The story started sometime in the 1980's when my grandfather bought a 2 year old $35 black pony stud c**t at a livestock auction in Pennsylvania. They named him Thunderboy and he went on to teach my mom, her brothers and sisters, and plenty of other kids how to ride. He sired plenty of foals in his lifetime but his 2nd to last foal was the one that resembled him the most. We were just boarding Trust at the time she foaled, but when my mom saw the new filly she wanted that foal to be part of her children's childhood just like Boy had been part of hers. 4 months later we traded a chainsaw for the black filly and it ended up being one of the best trades we've ever made. She went on to grow up and be the most influential equine in my life. I can't wait to share her legacy with my children and hopefully someday my grandchildren. To me and many others she'll always be a legend! Happy Birthday Midnight, you're the best!!!

Bleu Kylo SOE is a black and white blue eyed c**t. Kylo is a warmblood/paint/pony cross. He's expected to mature anywhere from 14.2 to 15.2 hh. He's only a couple months old but could be successful in a lot of different directions. His unique markings and striking personality are sure to get you remembered!

Bleu Bird SOE is a black and white blue eyed yearling warmblood/paint/pony cross filly. Birdie is expected to mature to 14.2 to 15.2 hh. She's very friendly and easy to handle. She should excel in any direction under saddle as she has a beautiful uphill canter and a floaty trot. She's smart and flashy and will be sure to get you noticed. Birdie has been exposed to a mixture of different farm animals. She's leads, stands tied, and respects electric fences.

Her parents and grandparents are easy to work with and show. She also has a full sibling that was born this year, so if you want her but the boy version you're in luck. Royal Andante SOE is a yearling bay warmblood/thoroughbred c**t with just enough white to get you noticed. He's expected to mature to 16.2 to 17.2 hh. His sire is registered R.P.S.I. warmblood and his dam is registered thoroughbred. Andante is a very quiet and easy going guy. He was originally bred to be an eventer but with how laid back he is he might make it better as a hunter. He is at an awkward stage and is incredibly lanky right now. This c**t shows a lot of promise and we would love for him to end up in a show home. He has been exposed to lots of different farm animals, leads, stands tied, and is respectful of electric fences.

ThunderGirl foaled this afternoon and had a black and white blue eyed c**t. His name is Bleu Kylo. He is for sale and we are guessing he'll mature anywhere from 14 to 15 hh. Both his grandmothers Hall's Ragged Robin's and Hall's Midnight are barn favorites. His mother is the most trainable equine I have ever had the pleasure to work with.

All 3 of Hall's Ragged Robin's foals so far. They all have the same sire and it just goes to show how much of a range in coloring you can get with the same parents.

Robin had a bay and white blue eyed filly this morning. Her name is SnowBird. We've been wanting a filly out of Robin for awhile and she did a lovely job with this one.

Midnight and her last 2 babies. These 2 girls are full sisters. Misty is turning 2 this year. Midnight is the easiest momma and is the greatest pony I've ever met. She has taught me more than any other equine and I can't wait for my kids to learn from her and her kids.

A little update on French Vanilla SOE a.k.a. Frenchie she went through a small faze of not wanting to be handled but she's gotten over that and realizes that humans give good scratches. She's been gaining weight really well and other than a little sunburn on her nose she's been doing really well.

Baby #4 is a filly. Congratulations to our maiden mare Bella on her little buckskin paint filly with a partial blue eye. We've decided to name her French Vanilla and call her Frenchie for short.

This week has been a big week for the foals. They have started halter training and learning to pick up their feet. They are also masters at hydration which is so important with this hot weather.

For educational sakes the ropes the foals wear are very flimsy and not very long they are just there so the foals can get used to ropes dangling around their legs. It makes them safer and more adjusted as adults.

Night check on the mommas and babies and we got to capture this moment between Robin and Phoenix. Robin is an absolute amazing mother and Phoenix is growing so well. With everything Robin went through last year it was a miracle that she was able to have a foal this year. Both of them have been through so much to be here with us tonight and we are glad that Robin is the fighter she is to never give up and bring hope to our family.

Well babies #2 and #3 can share a post. Apparently the girls decided bay c**ts with blazes are the new fad.

Baby #2
Congratulations to Scratch Off Queen on her first foal. He was born on the 24th of April. Queen has been a super mother for her first time. Her c**t is named Royal Andante. We are expecting him to be tall as his mom is a 17hh thoroughbred and his dad is a 16.2hh warmblood.

Baby #3
Congratulations to Hall's Ragged Robin on her second c**t. He was born a little after 2 a.m. this morning. Robin had a rough summer last year after she made the poor decision to kick a trailer divider. Her recovery was long but thanks to our amazing vet both her and her c**t are better than expected. He doesn't currently have a name yet and we are open to suggestions(Extra points if the name involves birds). We are expecting him to reach a decent size as his mom is a 15hh pinto and his dad is a 16.2hh warmblood

Misty is growing very quickly. She's been very active this week and is showing a curious streak. The amount of stuff she's put in her mouth this week is astounding. With her long legs getting her nose to the ground is a little difficult for her, but she's learning. We've started halter training her(she's not a fan). She has decided that she loves attention and we are so excited for her future!

Flying Pleasantly is an 8 year old 16hh thoroughbred mare. What's not to love about her, she's gorgeous, level-headed, and smart. She's an easy keeper and has great feet. She's been gently restarted and is doing very well. She retired sound off of the track and doesn't have any vices. She has a great work ethic and is looking for a job. Parishville NY

Lace is such an amazing young lesson horse. At only 4 years old she has been amazing in lessons and kids camps this summer. Her work ethic and willingness to try new things makes her such an asset to our program
