Out with the old and in with the new. This week we said goodbye to our old tractor and hello to a new, smaller one. This new tractor will be a big help around the farm now that everyone can drive it!

New training project!!

Everyone meet Artemis, a 2016 TBxWarmblood mare standing about 16 or so hands (will measure for her future sale add). I am so excited to start working with her soon, she is so smart already!

I will be updating on her progress throughout her time here.

It is that time of year again!! Start off the new year right and sign up for summer camps at a discount! We will be having our month long sale on full day week summer camps only, deal ends January 31st 2025.

2025 Full Day Week Camp Dates:
June 23-27th
July 14-18th
July 28-Aug 1st (trot and above only)

We also want to introduce our half day week camps (5 days, 9am-12pm):
June 16-20th (ages 3-7 only)
Aug 11-15th
(half day week camps are not included in the January deal/discount)

Only a deposit is required upfront, pay the rest anytime before the first day of camp. The deal is on each full day week and is per kid, so each week and each kid gets their own discount. We are so thankful for our wonderful barn family and friends, we love and appreciate you all!

We are most thankful for our wonderful lesson horses; future, present, and most of all our past lesson horses. Our past lesson horses have been on my mind today, thinking of all they have taught us and how much they gave to us. We are so lucky to have these horses to help and provide the services we do, we cannot wait to do more.

Update: Turns out it was only fatty fluid, Bubba is not a stallion and he was able to come home that night!

Bubba was dropped off at New Bolton today for a possible cryptorchid castration tomorrow. He was so good for the tech handling him, it’s like he has no concept of stranger danger.

Congratulations to all 6 of our riders! Today was Jameson, Hayden, and David’s first show and they all were amazing!!

Peyton, Chelsea, and Amanda had an interesting time handling their horses, but they rocked their classes as well.

I did not note all the ribbon placements but Jameson, Hayden, and Peyton brought home reserve champions!

Welcome to the herd, Jackson! He is a 8 year old standardbred standing at about 16.1 hh. He is studying to become a lesson horse and working on getting into shape.

Amanda and Hayden drove almost 7 hours to pick him up from New Hampshire and even more driving back to the farm. They took a lot of break in the drive to offer him water and a chance to rest, he was so good the whole trip.

We are trying to find a good name for him, so drop your suggestions below!
