April 28th is National Pet Parents Day and to celebrate we are having a giveaway! Existing daycare clients or new daycare clients can win 3 FREE days of daycare for their dog. Contest starts Wednesday April 24th and ends Friday April 26th. To enter, follow our page and share this post with your friends. Drawing will take place on Sunday April 28th and the winner will be announced via our page at noon.
*New daycare dogs will need to pass their daycare evaluation prior to receiving the free daycare days. Free daycare days must be used by Friday May 31st 2024 and are non transferable.

Just a friendly reminder, if you would like to schedule a grooming appointment with me at River Run Veterinary Hospital, please make sure your canine friends are up to date on Rabies, distemper, and Bordetella vaccines. And for your Feline friends they need to be up to date on Rabies and distemper! Please make sure Bordetella is administered 10-14 days before the groom date!
*ALL VACCINES NEED TO BE UTD AND IN OUR SYSTEM BEFORE GROOM IS SCHEDULED!!
*At the time of making a groom appointment a $50 deposit is needed!

I am excited to announce I will be starting Full Time at River Run Veterinary Hospital! Many of my clients are already aware, but I will be grooming on Wednesdays, and also training as a veterinary assistant the rest of the week! I am very excited for this new opportunity in learning more in the veterinary field! If you would like to schedule a grooming appointment with me at River Run Veterinary Hospital send me a message and I can schedule your k-9 or feline friends an appointment!
* Dog are required to have Rabies, Distemper, and bordetella vaccines!
* Cats are required to just have a rabies vaccine!

Willow got a bath w/ a de-shed! When a groomer does a de-shed on a dog we use specific shampoo/conditioner and tools. The shampoo and conditioner help loosen any under coat that needs to come out, and after the groom it also help strengthen the hair follicles so at home you don’t have so much hair everywhere! We use a variety of different tools for different coat types, you need to be careful with some tools because depending on the coat a specific tool can ruin a dogs coat. Also with any tool or brush that you use if you use the tool to hard or for to long you can cause irritation to the dogs skin! It is better to do more frequent baths with a blow out than it is to do a de-shed a few times a time a year!! 💛🐾

Comfort for the pup is #1!! If they want to lay down they can, if they want to not be on the table, than I will groom them on the floor, or if they don’t want to be groomed at all I do not push it, I always make it as comfortable and as low stress as possible for the groom! ❤️🐾

Before and after of Coco’s Bath & Brush! She is still a little baby but does amazing for the grooming process!! It is so important to start your pups out as young as possible and keep them on a regular 4-6 week schedule, to keep the dogs stress level lower and coat healthier and mat free! It will also allow us groomer to do the best job possible when the pup cooperates for grooming!!
