The 2023 Doggie Swim Party is fast approaching! This year the event will be held on Sunday August 20. We are in need of donations for the basket auction. If you are interested in donating a basket or an item to be put in a basket, please call 570-628-4417, e-mail [email protected], or drop a donation off at either JFK Pool or the City Administrator's Office at City Hall. The voting for the Top Dog Contest is now open through 3 PM Sunday August 20th which is the date of the Doggie Swim Party. Please see the revised poster below- two furry friends were missed on the original poster, so we actually have 41 dogs! Voting is available at City Hall Monday-Friday and JFK Pool daily from 12-7

The 2023-2024 Top Dog Contest Voting is now open. The voting period is open now through 3 PM August 20th. There will be a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winner this year and the winners will be announced at the Dog Swim Party on August 20th at JFK Pool. Votes cost $1. Votes may be cast at City Hall and JFK Pool. Please see poster and flyer on voting below...

A Message from our the Bark Rangers
• Watch your dog at all times. Benches and fences may contain sharp edges. (these places not intended for puppy play anyway)
• No Digging Please…Dogs love to dig, but this is not the place. In addition to damaging the grass and creating trip hazards, the underground irrigations system may be damaged.
Dog Park Etiquette
The dog park is not the time to sit down for a delicious meal. Dogs will smell that food and expect you to share. Don’t start feeding any food or treats to dogs you don’t know. They will either fight over them, or they may be on a special diet that doesn’t allow what you are sharing.

-Water fountains are back in operation.
-Watch your dog at all times. The tables, benches and fences may contain sharp edges. (these are all places not intended for puppy play anyway)
-We all play a role in making this facility a success. Be considerate and respectful to other members.
-Keep a close eye on how your dog interacts with others. If your dog is anxious or overly excited, take steps to calm the situation and prevent problems.

Dog Park Etiquette:
Try not to let your dog crowd new dogs entering the park. It is always better to keep your dog away from the entrance once you arrive to prevent them from crowding and overwhelming newcomers.
