Last evening MRC/DCART co-hosted a Pet First Aid Class with the John Jay High School FFA Chapter. Participants walked away with a wealth of information on how to treat their dogs and cats in an emergency and had the opportunity practice pet CPR on our mannequin. Thank you to MRC/DCART volunteer Dr. McNamara for teaching over 1,000 community members since we started offering this program!

While you’re there learn how to Save a Life with Narcan Training & see how many “ticks” you can get off Tick Check Harry with our Department of Health staff! Another great stop is with our friends at the Dutchess County Soil & Water Conservation District who are located in the Horticultural Building and have a cool demonstration on erosion!
