I am guilty of not getting some after photos. However some would look at this foot and completely slander it. That’s ok, but because you don’t know where this horse started it’s easy to pick on just a photo. This horse came to me with absolutely no frog, he also had thin soles and had trouble growing distal length of any sort. These photos show a frog that will get cleaned up. His trim will get rebalanced and set back under him. Today this horse grew some material because of a better diet and consistent cycles that supported the entire foot. I really really need to dig around and find photos from 6 months ago !!! Ahhh

Beau update !!

Where there is a will there is a way, this gal has some mobility issues, and we don’t have standing stocks to help her, so we make ply wood work in partnership with the angle grinder and a sanding disk.

Sometimes the bloopers are just more entertaining. Ripping off glue on shoes, it has lots of entertaining moments, you just had to be there.

A big thanks to Tony Gust, a fellow hoof hugger showing me the ropes on a glue on application.

Emu ! Sorry they don’t have hooves, I just thought they were entertaining.

Our Story

I provide hoof care for horses, donkeys, mules, and hinnies. My passion is keeping animals sound and comfortable to the best of my abilities. I find hoof care to be the most rewarding and intriguing. I love to watch animals move, so it really made sense for me to get into the bio-mechanics and locomotion of equines. I graduated from Post University with a Bachelors of science in equine studies and a in depth concentration in hoof trimming. I am also a graduate of Mission Farrier school where we focused on the horse and finding their best center, encouraging their best movement, comfort and soundness.
