It’s with a heavy heart we would like to let you know that barn favorite sweet queen Mimi has crossed over the rainbow bridge at the age of 31.

Please find peace in knowing that she did not suffer. She was truly a wonderful pony who taught so many kids how to ride. She loved teaching everybody and those who got to ride her consider themselves very lucky!

Mimi AKA Memory Lane will be sadly missed and fondly remembered. We are saddened about her passing but truly thankful that we had a chance to know her.

We are shopping! Heading to DIHP Sunshine Saturday/Sunday Nov 2/3 ISO partner for an ammy

Ideal candidate would be something like the following:
- Jumper/Eq type (3 ring type would be even better. Really just need a solid citizen she can have fun on!)
- 16.3h +++ (bigger the better)
- Minimal maintenance
- 6-14yo ideal. Needs to have gone to at least one or two horse shows.
- Okay with a step down job, would love a been there/done that horse
- Able to step into the .90m next year and eventually do the adult medals and 1.10m jumpers

Our jumper riders moved up a division last week at the October Classic, both earning great ribbons!

🥇 Piper Falk - Wain & her 6 year old “Gus” moved into the .90 m jumpers earning several blue ribbons and reserve champion!

🏅 Camden Courtright & his own “Henley” stepped into the 1m jumpers to finish 4th! They also took on several 3’ medal classes, putting in great rounds & hitting many personal goals with good ribbons!

Great riding, kids!

Undeniably obsessed over the fall colors at this years October Classic! What a great week for these two ponies and their riders. Highlights include:
🥇 Avery Boss and Wishing well won EIGHT blue ribbons , taking them to Champion in several divisions, including the following:
🏆Opportunity Cross Rail Equitation
🏆Opportunity Walk Trot Equitation
🏆Outreach Walk Trot Hunter

🏅Millie Wakefield & Rubicon put in several great rounds in a very large Short Stirrup Pony Division, meeting many personal goals! They were also 2nd in a huge costume class, as an Astronaut and the Night Sky.

We are blessed to be in a community that consistently offers (and fills) classes at these levels. It makes us very proud to see Opportunity, Outreach, and Short Stirrup divisions with SO many young and aspiring riders being introduced to our sport!

We had the best time at the October Classic Costume Class sponsored by !
We had two teams take home 3rd 🥉 place out of the biggest field of competitors the show has seen in a long time! Each pair was so creative. Costumes are as follows:
🥉 13 - 17 to Piper Falk Wain & Marissa Pickering as Thing 1 and Thing 2, riding Gus as Cat in the Hat
🥉 12 and under to Millie Wakefield and Rubicon as an Astronaut and the Night Sky
Avery Boss & Wishing Well as Superheroes
Lumi Evens with Camden Courtright on Henley as A Princess and her Prince Charming

We are so excited to welcome Rumor to the Blue Heron Equestrian Center family and are so thankful to everybody that brought her along this far! 

Saying goodbye to your first pony is so hard. We are so excited though for Rumor to get to go and teach the next kid as much as she did Oly. We know that will love her as much as we do.

1 - Nightlight is a 16.3h 12yo gelding available for lease. Show record through the 1m and wants to be the winner!

2- Golden Boy is a 16.1h 6yo gelding available for sale or lease. Show record through the Baby Green hunters and low jumpers.

3- Shiny Toy is a 16.h 7yo mare available for sale or lease. Local show record through the .70m jumpers. Needs finishing. Great project for the winter!

All would be suitable for a junior or amateur to finish.
