To friends, family and followers of Permes Cats,
As you all have noticed over the past few years, I share lots of pictures of my very well-loved cats, just as a parent shares pictures of their kids and family. I do it out of love and the sense of pride that I feel for my cats. It also helps me stay in contact with families. I adopted kittens too. It gives my followers an opportunity to chat, comment on my posts and reach out to me with questions. It’s a place to reach out to for information, and support. Unfortunately, by doing this I also make myself a target for some who don’t share my views, breeding goals or appreciation for my passion, so they take the liberty to stalk and spam my page for reasons that are not always well intended. It is for this reason I want to put you all on notice and ask that you be careful by not responding to scammers spamming, trolling my page or by those few individuals who are always lurking in the shadows of my page waiting for the right moment to pounce on the opportunity to say or do something that is ill intended. I am here to add my grain of salt of joy to a world that is much in need of it. So, please let’s all come together to make this world a better place. Let’s not engage in negative banter with each other. Let’s not create a world of doubt and suspicion, but rather a more harmonious place filled with interest, curiosity and goodwill towards each other. I know this letter sounds more like a kumbaya message, but I am sure you get what I am trying to convey. So, here is my question to all of you. Should I remove the comment feature from my posts? I will tally your answers at the end of tomorrow to decide.
