Here are two teeth, one healthy (right) and one almost completely resorbed (left). Resorptive lesions are reasonably common in dogs and cats and can be the cause of teeth that “go missing”. These can be very painful and sometimes only the roots are resorbing, which is why dental x-rays are helpful.

Floppy ears versus erect: there is less air flow, increased warmth and more moisture retention on your floppy-eared dogs. This means increased chances of ears infections. Bacteria, yeast, and fungus love dark, warm, and moist, so those floppy ears provide the perfect environment for ear infections to brew. This is why swimming or bathing can increase chances of ear infections, as well as not cleaning them often enough.

Our Zoetis rep brought an iced coffee cart for our staff.

Our dogs and cats are termed as companion animals…for us. Truth of the matter is, they benefit from having an animal companion as well. It doesn’t matter if you mix up the species, they appreciate having not just human friends, but also another animal around.
