For the Good of the Human and the Horse Owner: Alexandra Till - I've been working with horses for most of my life.

Working with horses is my dream and my absolute passion! I have both practical as well as formal education in horse riding, care, management, handling and massage. To start out with I joined US Pony Club and then my thirst for further horse knowledge lead me to Colorado State University for an Equine Science Major and more recently lead me to get certified in Equine Shiatsu Massage.

Mobile Horse training: focus on groundwork & the basics - trust, manners and respect! Starting also available (must board at the barn I’m based out of).
I LOVE working with troubled horses (different from problem horses). Troubled: horses with a lot of fear, anxiety, mistrust, worry VS. problem horses: horses that have learned that bucking, rearing, flipping, kicking will get them out of work.
My method is more based on paying attention to the horse to create a partnership rather than just “do the work” … I feel that training isn’t just about the actual training but also about establishing trust, confidence and a bond.
Riding lessons!
No age limit, English discipline
My horse or yours
I have a pony for the kids, horse for adults. Jumping* and Dressage lessons available.
* lessons will ALWAYS include dressage and the basics, just because you’re taking jumping lessons does NOT mean that you will be doing a lot of jumping or drilling height. With solid basics all the other things will come together.
Equissage Massage Therapy
A complete equine physiotherapy system that improves performance, promotes healing and maintains your horse’s health with gentle, effective, three-way Cycloid Vibration Therapy. It also increases circulation and promotes relaxation.
The Back Pad sits on the horses wither/back and runs for 20 minutes, a dial to custom set intensity and has 3 modes of delivery - 1: constant 2: rapid alternation between high and low frequency. Sends vibration throughout the body.
Hand Held Unit is for manually applying focused vibration to other areas of the body, has a variety of time settings, a way to custom set intensity as well as the 3 modes of delivery. Can also be applied to the hoof, poll and face.
Leg Boots wrap around the lower leg (I usually do back legs) and use the hand held units. They send focused vibrations to the lower leg.
Personal Background:
Hello, my name is Alexandra Till. I have over 20 years horse experience. I have extensive horse knowledge both theoretical as well as practical. I have spent many years observing, training and riding horses, learning all I can through US Pony Club and obtaining an Equine Science Bachelors degree from Colorado State University - Fort Collins.
Horses are my passion and manners are my pet-peeve!
I have spent many years learning from trainers like Ray Hunt and Buck Brannaman as well as Warwick Schiller (not as their pupil but watching and reading about their training practices). I have also spent a lot of time with horses and learning from them about how they interact with each other and respond to people, as well as a lot of trial-and-error on finding what works best.
I really enjoy working with all kinds of horses and all kinds of problems.
My niche, if I have one, would be troubled horses (fear, lack of trust, lack of confidence) and helping them find their way.
I’m English trained (dressage mostly) but also do some western.
