“Birdie’s Nest” is here! Birdie filled her nest on March 14 and these little birds are growing so quickly! Three boys (Hawk, Finch, and Rooster) and three girls (Sparrow, Starling, and Robin) will be ready to fly the coop around May 9.

If you’ve been fortunate enough to be loved by a dog, you know that a good dog would never treat you as ordinary! You are their whole world. Everyone needs to experience the love of a dog at least once in their lifetime. Little Oscar Wilde (now known as Yo-Yo!) will be traveling to Tampa tomorrow to begin his extraordinary life adventure with his family.

Truer words may never have been written. May we all take the time to listen more and speak less! Let’s continue on with our “Tortured Poets Department” litter. Little Will here certainly takes this quote from his namesake to heart. He is an introspective old soul who is always ready to lend an ear or fill a lap.

Today is day three of showcasing our “Tortured Poets Department” litter and we feature Edgar Allan Poe. This little guy is a quiet, introspective soul. He’s always ready for a snuggle, but he’s also yet to say no to playtime. Maybe he, too, is pondering the perceptions of reality like his namesake. I do know that Edgar is a dream of a puppy.

How can one person be filled with so many words, all beautifully strung together like lyrics to a song, that you cannot choose a favorite? You simply have to choose the one that brings a smile to your face or brings tears to your eyes. These words always do that for me. There are so many stories woven into each of our histories. Some we remember and others we will never know, but they all played a part in making us who we are.
Today we continue to showcase our “Tortured Poets Department” litter. Miss Maya Angelou is reserved to a lovely family in Virginia.
