Let’s Talk About Matting – With Love!
We absolutely LOVE your doodles — those fluffy coats, those sweet faces, and all the cuddles in between. But with that adorable fluff comes responsibility — and matting can become a real issue if not properly maintained.
Mats are more than just tangles. They pull tightly on the skin, causing discomfort, irritation, and sometimes even infections. Removing them can be painful for your pup — and heartbreaking for us to see.
To safely and humanely remove mats, we now charge $25 per 25 minutes of de-matting. This reflects the time, care, and extra TLC it takes to get your pup feeling good again. In some cases, a shave-down may be the most compassionate (and cost-effective) choice — no pain, no stress, just a fresh start.
Maintaining a doodle coat isn’t cheap — regular grooming every 4-6 weeks and brushing at home in between visits is key to keeping your pup’s coat beautiful and mat-free.
Before confirming your appointment, please take a moment to carefully read your invoice and the de-matting terms & conditions. It helps ensure transparency, comfort, and the best care possible for your dog.
