Outside temperature is 44°. The sugar in the Marshall rye is 3.9%. We have a full day of sun coming, so I will measure it again late this afternoon. Tomorrow is rain. Check back here for the afternoon results

The Transformational Empowered Rider clinic was a huge success! In the morning Stephanie Mosley coached our riding positions and observed subtle imbalances in our horses. In the afternoon we did ground and body work where those imbalances could be worked on without the rider. These types of exercises are great because they don’t take a lot of time. As part of the Transformation we get to send in a video in the coming months for her comments on our progress. Also upcoming is a zoom session where we can all share our learnings and ask questions. The next Transformation is the first weekend in April 2025. We will also have a lesson weekend on Feb 8-9 weather permitting. (Wish I had more photos but we used my phone for the microphone on Saturday and I had two horses in the clinic.)

MAY 8 - 12, 2025. Save the date! Gerd Heuschmann USA is returning to Silver Lining Stables for the full Symposium. Two evenings of lecture with 24 rides over 4 days. The two part lecture will be approved for both GA veterinarian CE and USDF judge CE. Dr. Heuschmann recently published a new book which will be available to purchase or bring yours for autographing. More details to come in early January.

The Empowered Rider, LLC Transformational Biomechanics Clinic 3 Day Intensive for Horse and Rider is full on Saturday & Sunday!
Come audit and learn from the experienced and knowledgeable Stephanie Mosely. The morning sessions are semiprivate lessons. After lunch we do various types of ground and body work based on the horse and rider needs. PM me to register. Lunch is included. $50 audit fee/day.

Great second day of the Transformational Biomechanics Clinic with Stephanie Mosely! Lessons in the morning, anatomy (horse and human) discussion at lunch and ground work in the afternoon. Yesterday we did basic bodywork on each horse. Today was short line training to get the horse to stretch and bend in each direction. It’s harder than you think it would be. Stephanie demonstrated with Victor then we each tried to it with our own. Issues you’ve been having under saddle show up during these ground sessions. So interesting! Weather has been hot but not too humid and there’s been a welcome breeze. Looking forward to more learning today!

New options for participating in the Transformational Biomechanics clinic with Stephanie Mosely on August 9–11.  You can now sign up for one full day or two full days or even just come to take a lesson.  the full day cost is $200 per day. With that you do get the free zoom meeting about a month later. Lessons are $125 for 45 minutes and you do not get to stay & audit. Message me if you are interested. I have day stalls & two more overnight stalls available

It runs for three days August 9–11 with semi private lessons in the morning and groundwork in the afternoon . My arena is covered so the heat and/or rain are not that much of an issue. Just finished widening the entrance to the stables. All my trailer-in people will be so excited, including me! We took down two enormous pine trees and a couple smaller ones. Had the stumps ground out then finished it with 18 tons of gravel and a load of fill dirt. Thanks to Josh Mitchell for the Grading work and All Pro Tree Removal. Those big trees were right next to powerlines.
