Fancy Feline Rescue of the South, a non-profit, no-kill cat rescue/adoption agency licensed by the Georgia Department of Agriculture, is a small cat-only rescue organization with a big heart for the "Fancy Feline" breeds -- particularly Persian, Himalayan, Exotic, Ragdoll, Birman, Maine Coon, Siamese, and other CFA- and TICA-recognized breeds and mixes. We are a rescue affiliate of CFA BAP-BRP (Br

eeder Assistance Program-Breeder Rescue Program). We normally conduct our Meet-And-Greets at Kennesaw Petsmart, 860 Cobb Place Boulevard, Kennesaw, GA, on the second and third full weekends of each month, on Saturdays from 11:00a to 4:00p, and Sundays from 1:00p to 4:00p, but because of COVID-19, our meet-and-greets are temporarily suspended. We also have kitties at Pet Supermarket, 3405 Dallas Highway, Marietta, GA, and 8765 Dallas Acworth Hwy, Dallas, GA, that are available to meet during their business hours. Please contact us to set up an appointment to meet any specific cat you may be interested in adopting.

❤🥰❤ HAPPY GOTCHA' DAY, LUCKY!!! ❤🥰❤

Our handsome, debonair gentleman, LUCKY (who we think sports a bit of Maine C**n somewhere in his bloodline), found his new family today - or should I say, his new family found LUCKY when they visited with him at the cat show we attended back in February. They spent a lot of time snuggling with LUCKY and just couldn't resist - even though they were made aware of LUCKY's gastrointestinal issues. Lia and Matthew were not concerned about LUCKY's issues and will be, initially, taking him to see Dr. Lopez at Kennesaw Mountain Animal Hospital, where Dr. Lopez has been treating LUCKY. We are blessed to have adopters such as Lia and Matthew - and we know that LUCKY, once settled in, will provide lots of love, laughter, loyalty and companionship to both of them as well as to his two new four-legged siblings from another mother. Thank you, Lia and Matthew, for wanting to make this special guy a part of your family and provide him the care he needs!!

ALISON has spent almost her entire life with FFRS - in a foster home and at the rescue - but yesterday that all ended thanks to Micah! Micah, while the specific kitties you applied for weren't available, you switched your focus to one of our long-timers - and when you met her, she absolutely stole your heart! Thank you for giving this girl a chance at a loving home and a bright future! Thank you for adopting our long-timer, and we know that she will provide you with hugs, snuggles, and sandpaper kisses once she gets settled in.

🥰🥰🥰CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR NEW HOME, APPLE ANNIE!!🥰🥰🥰

Our precious Cream Point Himalayan, APPLE ANNIE, has been through a lot since coming to FFRS - but now is her time to shine and relax in her new home! She'll be enjoying the warmth of the sun in the Sunshine State with her new momma, Elizabeth. Elizabeth saw APPLE ANNIE last October and was definitely interested. Then we learned that APPLE ANNIE had to have extensive surgery to remove an inner ear polyp. Recovery was slow but now she's 100% and ready to be loved! Thank you, Elizabeth, for making a day trip today to make this precious girl a part of your family! We can't wait to see pictures and hear stories once she has settled in. Thank you for your patience and thank you for accepting this girl into your heart and your home!!!

[MORE VIDEOS IN COMMENTS] Had the special opportunity this weekend (as a birthday gift to myself!) to see two of our rescue kitties, Jolene and Ozzy (both adopted from FFRS recently by Kendra), do very, very well in Household Pets Division at the Rebel Rouser Cat Show in Lawrenceville. They were judged in 10 different rings and walked away with ribbons ranging from 1st place to 10th place in 9 out of the 10 rings. Mention was given by the judges on their sweet personalities and how well their adopter had done with their grooming! Way to go JOLENE and OZZY - and I know we'll be seeing you do well in upcoming shows! Congratulations to both of you and Kendra!!
