This week's member in the spolight go out to Tonya & Dave! Here's a little about them:

"This is my first year practicing weekly with a drill team and it's been fun! I have had Dave for about 12 years and he loves speed events. In addition to drill, Dave is the perfect all around horse with his favorite being barrel racing. He even does a few tricks! We look forward to the upcoming rodeos with the team!"

Meet the Team Monday!

Today's member in the spolight is Kristen, she's our treasurer this year. The horse she's on in this picture is "Six", here's a little about Kristen!

"I've ridden with Rimrock Riders Drill Team for at least 15 years. I've had the opportunity to ride many different and great horses while riding on this team. I'm currently the treasurer but have been captain, cocaptain and helped coach the team, and been the whistleblower 😂. I enjoy riding with all the new members and helping them learn drill. It's been fun riding at many rodeos and competitions. And am looking forward to doing so this year!"

"Last year was my first year on the Rim Rock Riders Drill Team and I don’t know how I had been living without it! My horse Pearl and I have learned so much together with the support and encouragement of all of the ladies on the team! I always look forward to weekly practices, and the excitement of performing for the crowd!"

This week our member in the spolight is our Co-Captain Katie and her horse Ace! Here's a little about them:

"Hello, my name is Katie, and this is my 10th year with the Rim Rock Riders Drill team. I ride an 11 year old quarter horse gelding named Ace. There are many things I love about drill. In drill you are constantly learning and challenging yourself and your horse. It builds a strong partnership and bond. I enjoy working hard with my teammates all year to put on fun and exciting performances for rodeos and events."
