We've been harboring a little secret 🤭
On May 31, 2026 HRA Bellatrix had a stunning Black fewspot c**t 3 weeks early. 🫣 This is one of the BEST FOSSIL babies he's ever produced. Perfect balanced conformation and absolutely straight. To top it off, his disposition is fabulous and friendly. He's hard to get pictures of because he's constantly WITH me, 😆. He absolutely 💯 deserves to be a future herd sire.

I have labored over this decision for awhile...

Fossil has been a fabulous boy in our program for several years. He passes on his beauty and brains to all his get.
Fossil can pasture breed and is a perfect gentleman for in-hand. He is currently pastured with our 2 junior stallions in hotwire and no one is beat up.
Fossil is UTD on farrier and dental in fall of 2025. He was greenbroke to ride and no reason he can't be restarted. He is perfectly sound.
We've kept a couple GAP 5 daughters to breed forward with and are slowly reducing our overall herd.
This decision has not come lightly and a future home will be heavily vetted.

A couple of needed updates to this page...
First - Sadly DCA Tobys Sophie aborted a bay characteristic filly at 255 days gestation. A trip to Bend Equine Medical Center and a $2k vet bill later to pull baby because poor Sophie just couldn't pass it on her own.
She is being retired as a broodmare.
Second - JKR Buffalo Girl does not appear to be in foal anymore. She had been confirmed at 35 days with a heartbeat but she just passed her 340 gestation on 5/12 and honestly she just doesn't LOOK pregnant. I will likely have her checked soon to confirm.

Third - GRR Ferghana Mist foaled a gorgeous bay fewspot c**t on May 8th (12 days early) by MIA Buckwyatts Glory. This c**t is the only progeny from "Yupa/Buck". If you had any interest in a stallion prospect, please reach out to Cain for info as she owns this trio.

Fifth - GRR Elsa Cheyenne has joined the family of Silver Creek Farms in Ohio. We look forward to seeing her future foals with them.
