This is an extremely hard post to make. Our Sweet Girl Indigo passed away due to complications after having Bloat surgery.
I have been trying to put together something that I felt would be worthy to honor the Matriarch of Indigo Blu Danes, to be honest, nothing feels like enough.
I am going to miss her collecting things and doing “drive bys” teasing me with whatever she had in her mouth and her ears always back and wrinkled while she did it.
I am going to miss her hopping up on the couch to get snuggles, and if you teasingly ignored her, she would push herself into you, the more you said her name, the harder she would lean. I am going to miss sharing my kitchen chair with her. Since she was little, she always loved to climb in the chair behind me and just sit. Most of all, She was an amazing Momma to her babies. I am so Thankful I have a piece of her still with Rubee. The trip to North Carolina to get her was great. My Mom went with me to bring her home because we would be taking a 4 day drive back to Wyoming with her. We even stopped at Mt. Rushmore and took some pictures ❤️. It was an adventure I will never forget.
I will always treasure the 4 short years I was lucky enough to spend with her. Rest in Peace sweet girl, I miss you like crazy. ❤️
