Hi, Iām Peaches š (the 2nd). Iām a 4 year old, female, dachshund, pug, chihuahua mix. Iām currently weighing in at a hefty 26lbs, but the vet says I need to lose a few, and the foster parents are helping me with that. I am good with other dogs, and tolerate all the foster dogs Iām living with (the puppy can be a bit much sometimes!), not sure about cats, but I like people the best so Iād probably leave them alone. Iām good with kids, housebroken, and crate trained. I can be a little nervous until I am used to a new house and new dogs/people. If I'm given a little time and space to get used to things I will become a little shadow to my humans. I absolutely love going for walks, and my little tail will wag the entire way, but if youāre feeling like more of a sit on the couch type of day, Iāll be right there with you! Iām a great snuggler, and would love to meet you.
Zinnia, the jumping bean!
Hi! Iām Zinnia. Iām a 38 pound, 1 to 2 year old maybe beagle mix. I was left at a shelter in KY this spring and eventually found my way up to my foster family in Columbus. I really like it here. My foster mom says Iām the happiest, wiggliest, funniest pup sheās ever had. I love all people, especially kids. I play well with other dogs, and get along great with cats too. Belly rubs are the absolute best arenāt they?
I will chew on bones, but I love stuffed animals that squeak the most. I've chewed a flip flop and a phone cable, but I didn't know they weren't toys for me. I guess I need to learn which toys are for me and which aren't. Iām easy to walk, as long as youāre not in a hurry as I take my time sniffing things. I know a few commands and Iām house trained and crate trained. But my favorite place to be is right next to you. I will follow you around from room to room, and sleep wherever you are. Dog beds, couches, human beds - I love them all. Oh yeah - I have crazy escape skills. But I don't run away. I run right to you- so proud of my skills. I can back my way out of a harness in 10 seconds flat, but my collar stays on fine. And metal crates are no match for me. The plastic crates work better. I have a mild neurological condition called cerebellar hypoplasia. This makes my balance a little off and I have trouble judging distances which makes me hilariously clumsy sometimes. It kinda looks like Iām a young puppy even though Iām fully grown. There are no medicines to worry about and it will cause no future concerns to my health. This has no affect on my intelligence at all, as I'm quite smart. And it doesn't stop me from doing anything at all. Iām slow at whole flights of stairs and at risk of falling down them. A home with minimal stairs would be ideal, but a baby gate will keep me perfectly safe. I hope to find a super loving home where I get lots of attention and care and I'm treated like the goofy princess I think I am. I hope to meet yo

She is up for some frisbee!
Hey there! My name is Margo. I really am the perfect dog. I mean just look at me, Iām beautiful! I listen well, Iām potty trained, I know how to sit, Iām loyal, I walk well on the leashā¦.most of the time. I canāt believe I haven't found my forever family yet. I think the reason why I am so overlooked is because of my breed, I am a 3 year old 70 pound, Mountain Cur, Chow mix. Donāt let the Chow in me scare you though because I am the sweetest and would make the absolute perfect family dog. I do, however, need a home without cats and need to be the only dog in the home. But as I said before and as my foster family would attest to, I would make the perfect family dog and I love kids!!
I like to watch out the windows and will tell you when I see a stranger so Iām the perfect security system, as well. See, I really am the perfect dog! Apply on our website to meet me today. I look forward to seeing you and becoming a wonderful addition to your family!

Hey guys, Iām Axle! Iām a young guy with a curious nature which isnāt surprising since Iām a Treeing Walker Coonhound and am about a year old and weigh 40 pounds. Iām mostly housebroken but have accidents now and again so Iām working on that. I like having a fenced yard so I can go out any time I like and sunbathe. I love being outside!
I may have recently lost a hind leg due to an injury but Iāve gained so much more since some really nice people found me in WV and helped me get to Ohio! Iām an optimist and love everyone I meet, especially the kids...they just love me and tell me Iām so gentle.
Iām really curious about cats and like to bark at my cat roommate, so my foster mom thinks Iād do best in a home without those furry creatures. I donāt hurt the cat when I see him but I really like to chase him and be near him.
Iām here for all the things...Sniffing (my favorite), running, chasing stuff, chewing on stuff, playing with my doggie foster brothers, car rides! I really like chewing on shoes and anything else I can get my nose in but my foster parents are showing me which toys are OK for me to play with. I am crate trained and get along great with other dogs and all people. I take treats really well and would prefer a house with another dog so I can have someone to play with. I think all the toys are mine but I am learning how to be better at sharing. I may need a lot of stimulation and to keep busy at times but Iām also a good couch potato. I would love to meet you!
