Zeus, the Bullmastiff puppy, just got his vaccine booster, and we thought it’d be the perfect time to share some fun facts about pet vaccines! 💉✨

𝗗𝗶𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄?
Vaccines are like superhero shields 🦸‍♂️ for your pup, protecting them from some serious illnesses like:

𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘃𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗿𝘂𝘀 🦠 (highly contagious virus that causes severe vomiting and diarrhea and can be fatal to puppies)
𝗗𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗲𝗿 😷 (highly contagious virus that causes a wide array of illnesses including vomiting, diarrhea, coughing, eye infections and nervous system disorders)
𝗥𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗲𝘀 🐕 (which is not just serious—it's required by law!)

Ever noticed your cat rhythmically pushing their paws into a blanket or your lap? This adorable behavior is called kneading, and it’s totally normal! 😺

𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲'𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝘆 𝗰𝗮𝘁𝘀 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗸𝗻𝗲𝗮𝗱:

With Halloween right around the corner, it's important to remember that while our spooky treats are delicious, they can be dangerous for our furry friends! 🍬🐶

𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝟵 𝗛𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗸𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗱𝗼𝗴:

𝗖𝗵𝗼𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲 🍫 – undefined Toxic to dogs! It contains caffeine and theobromine, which can lead to serious health issues.

𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗻 🌽 – High in sugar and can cause digestive upset or worse, especially if it contains xylitol.

𝗚𝘂𝗺𝗺𝘆 𝗕𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 🧸 – Can cause electrolyte imbalances, leading to severe issues.

𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗹 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘀 🍏 – Apple seeds and caramel are dangerous, potentially causing cyanide poisoning or pancreatitis.

𝗛𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗲𝘀 🍬 – Pose choking hazards and can be toxic if sugar-free.

𝗟𝗶𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗲 🍥 – Can lead to electrolyte imbalances and heart problems in dogs.

𝗖𝗵𝗼𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲-𝗖𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗥𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗻𝘀 🍇 – Both chocolate and raisins are toxic, and can cause kidney failure.
