Healthy Pets is excited to announce a new partnership with the Urban Lacrosse Academy (ULA), in supporting its mission to provide mentorship and shared community through the sport of lacrosse. Lacrosse is known by it's originators, the Haundenosuanee, as The Medicine Game for it's value in strengthening the body, mind, and spirit.

As part of this partnership, Healthy Pets will make a contribution to the Urban Lacrosse Academy. For each new client who comes to us from the Urban Lacrosse Academy a portion of their veterinary costs will be donated to the program. This contribution is aimed at empowering the next generation of lacrosse players and providing resources to underserved communities.

We’re thrilled to partner with the Urban Lacrosse Academy to help inspire youth and foster a love for lacrosse. At Healthy Pets, we believe in the power of an active lifestyle—whether it’s through physical activity or spending time with our pets—and this donation aligns with our commitment to community wellness.

The donation will help fund programs and initiatives, such as their continued work in the Northland and Forest Park neighborhoods. ULA is hard at work to bringing lacrosse into PE classrooms, after-school programs at YMCA North and Woodward Park Rec Center, and founding the first lacrosse club at Northland Highschool. Your contributions will directly help these efforts to develop the pipeline to varsity lacrosse at Northland High Park Rec Center. Healthy Pets is proud to support ULA’s efforts in expanding the reach of lacrosse and fostering an environment where young athletes can thrive.

The donation also reflects the growing collaboration between Healthy Pets and ULA to engage both athletes and pet owners in staying active and healthy together. With a shared commitment to well-being, this partnership continues to bring awareness to the benefits of an active lifestyle for families and their furry companions.
