There is a respitory illness going around nationwide. If your dog has any symptoms please do not carry him to a boarding facility or a day care. The National Map shows Maryland hasn’t been affected as of yet, BUT it’s only a matter of TIME.
At Delmarva K9 we are taking this seriously. We have implemented several precautionary measures to insure the safety of our guests. We have added a second sterilizing chemical to our daily sanitation practice. We sanitize each leash between every dog that is handled. Hand washing is constant for the staff. We have increased our ventilation. We have added a hospital grade air scrubber as well to assure the air is clean and free from bacteria or viruses.

What an absolute horrible weekend K9 Diablo passed away peacefully in my arms holding his ball. Rest in peace bubba. Youuu were one of a kind, the good lord broke the mold when he made you. You taught me as much as I ever taught you. May your bite live on, see you again someday. Love you partner.

The Fruitland Police Department is proud to announce our newest officer K9- Boone. The fourteen-week-old bloodhound was born on the banks of the Rough River in Central Kentucky and arrived at the department on September 16, 2023. Boone will continue his training with and anticipated completion date of December 2023. Cpl. Josh Culver and his partner Boone will be ready for deployment by the first of the year.
