Usually I mention the dog of the week when we have a great dog that stays overnight with us but this time I’m gonna announce a group of dogs that are awarded the dog of the week.
Drum roll please…
Say hello to Copper, Charlie, Meeko, Jax and Buddy! All from the same family.
Copper the beautiful Beagle is a people lover, he loves to get in you lap. Charlie is very quiet but a very sweet boy, Meeko used to not come to me but he now realizes I’m a nice person who loves dogs. Jax is a bit shy but loves me loving all over him, and Buddy, oh what a lover! Such a cuddler and doesn’t have a mean bone in his body! I love them all!!

We have another Powhatan Paws Pet Sitting PET OF THE WEEK!
This is Blue. Blue is a 9 yr old Beagle that stayed with us this weekend.
What makes us choose Blue for the dog of the week?
Well, Blue was so sweet, he never barked, he waited his turn and sat for his treats, he didn’t try to eat any of the other dog’s food, he didn’t jump up on us or act aggressive towards the other dogs. Good boy, Blue!❤️

Yes! This is really happening! We are getting a week long hands-on dog grooming training with the wonderful Edina Viens with Groomers Wellness.
We are getting some great lessons on how to trim nails, the danger zones when clipping, and de-matting to name a few.
Soon we will be adding Dog Grooming
