It started with one pug and a massively complicated autoimmune disorder. Today Pug Hollow is a home based Hospice and long term care sanctuary for small dogs under 25 pounds. It is unfortunate but often dogs are abandoned at shelters, vet offices or on the side of the road when they become old or ill. Some of them were family pets who became inconvenient. Others have never known what it is to be a

part of a loving home. Pug Hollow believes that every dog deserves to end his or her life with love, comfort and compassion. Our mission is to provide as many of those dogs as possible with a safe, comfortable home where they will be loved and cared for as long as they live, and where they will be compassionately assisted across the Rainbow Bridge if necessary.

Miss Faith has gone on across the rainbow bridge due to the progression of her degenerative myelopathy. She went on her own terms, peacefully and without pain.

For all that Daffy likes having her face washed, she lives up to the name Sharkweek when it's time to trim nails. And yes, she has a special Jason Voorhees mask in place of a "party hat." She’s just that spicy.

Tank is going to get every tiny lick of leftover gravy out of the empty food bowl, no matter what Cio has to say about it. It’s important to note that they’re both closely monitored and toothless. Tank is absolutely not in the least bit food aggressive, as well as being deaf, and she obviously takes Cio *very* seriously…

At the Grand Age of 20, Higgs has no eyes now, but he still gives a glorious Tongue Out Tuesday. His eye was removed due to glaucoma, and naturally it’s itching a little as it heals. He was blind before he had it out, so there wasn’t much change for him aside from significantly improving his comfort. He’s much happier as a no-eyed Min Pin.
