Dental Month once again!
Pet dental disease is one of the most common health issues, affecting nearly 80% of dogs and 70% of cats by the time they are three years old. If left untreated, plaque and tartar buildup lead to gingivitis and periodontitis, which are painful and can cause tooth loss. Even more concerning, bacteria from infected gums can enter the bloodstream and damage vital organs like the heart, kidneys, and liver.

Many pets hide oral pain well, making it easy to miss the early stages of dental disease.
Look for these common warning signs:
-Persistent bad breath
-Yellow or brown tartar buildup on the teeth
-Red, swollen, or bleeding gums

Get your dental consult scheduled today and give a call! We provide 20% discount for dentals scheduled in the month August.

Signs of Dehydration!
Watch for these common warning signs of dehydration in your pets:

-- Dry or sticky gums: Gums that feel tacky instead of wet.
-- Sunken eyes: Eyes that look unusually dry or sunken into the socket.
-- Lethargy: Sluggishness, excessive panting, or lack of interest in their usual activities.

If you notice signs of severe dehydration, vomiting, or diarrhea, contact your local veterinarian immediately.
