UPDATE: Navi has decided that he is going to stay at Dogtree Pines. He had a couple meet and greets but didn’t cooperate as he doesn’t want to move. We’re all happy about his decision! ❤️❤️❤️

To all the Navi followers out there:

Navi is here in Prescott and doing great! His wounds are all healed, he is trained well and is ready to start looking for his forever home.

We run a senior dog rescue here at Dogtree Pines. I was hoping that he would work well with our 8 other seniors but he’s too young and jumpy and needs a more active home. It’s better for him and safer for the very old guys that we have at Dogtree Pines.

He is looking for a great home with active owners and a playmate. He is about 1 1/2 years old and weighs about 40 pounds. He loves to play ball, play in the pool, and rough-house with other dogs. He is great on and off leash and stays right next to his owner while hiking off leash. He sits for his meals and waits patiently. He currently lives with eight other dogs and 2 cats. 

I will be keeping up with his progress. If you have anyone in mind that would like to have him, let me know and I will reach out.

This is about the sweetest thing I’ve ever seen. Oliver had a medical procedure this morning and Navi is watching over him closely. What a sweet and loyal brother. Navi definitely wanted a family of his own, as Barb told me, and he got it!

All tired out from a long work week. 😁
He had to play in the pool multiple times, attended rattlesnake avoidance training and hiked a long hike in the Prescott National Forest. He’s all tuckered out!

Navi sure loves the pool. He doesn’t love to swim but falls in from time to time and is actually a good swimmer. He can stay out here all day just waiting to play though and he waits at the gate for the pool to open in the morning. Who would have thought?!?!?!

Navi got a new brother today. His name is Marley. He came out of Yuma, Arizona and belonged to a hoarder that could no longer care for him. AARF animal rescue took him in from the HS of Yuma but he really needed a home to live in. He is a total love bug and really wants to be around his people. After meeting Navi and brother Oliver in person, he came to Dogtree Pines yesterday to his new home. He is an old guy with some special medical needs so we are going to give him lots of love, good food, good medical attention and whatever else he needs. isn’t he the cutest thing?? ❤️
