The scouts were up installing the 11 engraved pavers yesterday. Now we are awaiting the Eagle plaques. Pavers will still be available for engraving through August 2024.

The VA is working on getting a date set for the dedication ceremony. 👍🏼
Both Josh and Jordan have their Eagle board of review scheduled for September.

Jordan only had a crew of three today but they sure got a lot done!! The hardest part is making sure the pavers slope down and away from the flagpole. To do this she has run string lines on the vertical pavers defining the slope and then they use a level to insure the horizontal pavers follow the defining slope. That is what takes a lot of patience and time.

Boulders for the rock garden have been placed. This marks the finish of Josh’s Eagle Project “Terrace one”. 🎉
He will still help plant the succulent garden in June.

Jordan worked from home this weekend. She and her mom/MS cut the stone caps to finish off her Versalok wall at the Prescott Veterans Hospital.

Shopping Day! Josh has selected the boulders for the rock garden, and met with a Native gardener to select plants for his xeriscape  rock garden.

We dropped off 43 pavers be engraved! That’s a great start but we hope to have 200+ because it’s such a wonderful way to honor our Veterans.
