Tho I absolutely love catching kits in peaceful and contented poses, reality is that some are more vigilant than others, even in the best circumstances.
These two had been alone for 2 days by my contract with their peeps and had a strong startle response to my appearing. After turning off the alarm, I settled onto the floor and let them approach. Sunshine first, tail and hackles softening, then Shade, coming to me from her new view out the now available screen door.
Chores done with them following, we began play. They’re loosening up… there’s nothing much like simply supplying what’s needed without expectation, letting things be as they be, including you, and me.
This is the first of a long string of visits. I’m grateful to be trusted with them and by them. Tell your friends, and other peeps with cats, that I’ll spend a half hour minimum with them as frequently as you like.
Sunshine n Shade
Here’s Scooter demonstrating how sturdy this scratcher is... I highly recommend this Esty offering (for the big guys, or simply enthusiastic medium guys)... There’s no particle board smell, nothing to wear down and fly or fall off. Very very sturdy and stays where it’s put. Thanks for the demo, Scooter 🦁

Gemma, Oliver, and the tail end of the cutest lion cut ever 💗
Lily’s a little worried by the gusty wind but can be caught in play... and by her canned food treat 😋
And then, now, there’s Lily 💞
Their peeps are traveling again! I’ve had wonderful input from some felines that I hadn’t seen in a bunch of months and new pups I’ve been so pleased to meet. Everyone’s doing really well, I’m happy to say. Hudson and Velcro, Roxy, Abbey, and Charley, Lucy, and Bridget. Thank you everyone. Being amazing, we are 💝
I’m putting an order in for my own and little herd’s personal use and will offer a discount if you order with me today. I’ll give you the price I pay, and if our total is over $250, we’ll nix the $9 shipping. (There is no tax applied)
Here’s a tip! Natural Grocer, like so many retailers these days, also has organic CBD for similar prices, but their droppers are different, carrier oils different, history unknown. Check them out, tho! In most cases, I believe we can work with differences 🥰. I won’t be switching brands but can still advise on dose and timing, if needed.
Everything comes and goes, that's my view, so sending pain and anxiety out for a hike seems really reasonable.
I've gathered quite a bit of experience using CBD to ease clients anxiety, irritable bowel, muscle and joint irritation, the aches and pain of senior years. I've seen acute pancreatitis eased faster than with traditional medications and standard treatment. My nursing background and a lifetime of animal care are called into play for a wide angle look. Need advice? Just ask. All good! Just want to order a fantastic product for you or your animals? Use my phone number to set up an account and order away.

I highly recommend! The bags are the only drawback, in my opinion. I’ll take them off your hands, rather than see them landfilled empty ❤️ (I use and reuse them for scoopage and recycling)
Smell Less. Clean Less. Buy Less.
Is there anyone out there with a craving to watch your kit(s) enjoy some organic grass? I grow an extra and this one needs a happy home!
Nearly weekly I have new reports of clients amazing their people with results that comfort everyone involved (my self included!). I recommend ECS Therapeutics for you and your animals. Here’s a nice synopsis of what’s usually asked about CBD and your pets.

There’s a good chance you’ve heard about CBD oil for dogs and cats. In natural health circles, the product has become one of the most popular go-to natural solutions for a wide-variety of ailments from anxiety to joint pain to nausea and digestion problems. Our sister site iHeartDogs and Cannani...
Roxy is another of my Christmas week charges. I’m happy that her peeps see great value in buying quality time from me for her, cuz she has a couple of recurring challenges (loss of appetite, urinary tract infection, and renal failure) that can be exacerbated by stress. She is nearly always recovering or heading into a bout of something and since I’ve been with her for a few years, AND she’s such a great communicator, I’m pretty tapped into how she’s doing. Today? Happy chatty camper, purring with shared space, warmed by gas fireplace, pretty content with life. That’s not to say she isn’t noticing her peeps are gone! Cuz they are 💞. It’s sweet that she’ll be noticing them return tomorrow... Yay!
The first time I sat with Nilmerg (flip it 😜) and his senior friend Tiger Lily he and I had a little discussion about walking on the counter top cuz he was on it, but looked at me like he was and wasn’t supposed to be. Since it hadn’t been discussed with his peeps, we decided to sideline it till they returned. Sure enough, buddy had been pushing the envelope. Today, he was sitting sooooo pretty on his chair, yep HIS chair. Almost too pretty 🧐. I told him I was gonna laugh good and loud if he tried it again. Blank stare 🦁. After doing the litter boxes I walked around the corner into his cute gremlin mug taking a short cut. “I was just taking a short cut!” LOL! I’m sure he did it just for me. Thanks for the laugh, Nilmerg 🧡
Pics of these two are usually full blurrrrr so here are the luckiest shots, all just now. Speaking of luck and good fortune, after nearly 3 weeks away, their peeps and pup are home tomorrow!!! Woo Hoo, dancing cats, no doubt. I’ve asked Sunshine if we can pick up right here next time I see them, cuz she has liked to take a few days to warm up. Warm she is, right now. So sweet to feel. Shadow is cooly sweet from day one. Well, they both are, actually, it’s just that Sunshine keeps a needed distance. Treats hiding all around before I go, one more sunset, one more sunrise, girls... you’re nearly there 💝🎶🥳
It’s a balancing act, being anxious from extended solitude and the missing of her peeps, but new client Lily has it down pat. She’s a bit anxious, but also able to connect and play. Sweet gateway to more of the same. They’re home tomorrow, gf. One more sundown, one more sun up... you’ve got this
Monkey is SUCH an amazing kitty. (She as tiny as my Sissy is under all that fur...). She isn’t much into getting picked up or curling in a lap, but my goodness she LOVES a good hug. I spend most of my visit on the floor with her listening to the purr purr purr... Round and round we go 💓
My welcome... too cute!
Olive and Tiger... 🖤😎
Hehe... Hudson and Velcro. They USUALLY take turns being all serious...
Here's a story to remember when you're planning a trip away. You know those smoke detectors hard wired in tandem? With battery backup? Well, I do! If your batteries are near replacing, just do it ✔ ✔ 😎
We thought we'd solved it last night, but this morning when I arrived there were 2 detectors beeping every 30 seconds or so. Missing from her usual spot for chatty greeting was Roxy. I heard her answering me in a distressed near wailing meow. Sure enough, when she came to me, still far away from the ear piercing beep, she did start to wail. Poor girlie! Into the litter box she went while I trouble shooted the system. It took a few minutes and from that quiet place it didn't take long for her to emerge (and celebrate🎉). Some sun makes everything better 💛☀️. I was able to check in on her an hour later, and this evening all is still quiet... We spent some quality time on the couch 🎶😻
This is Amber. She reminds me a bit of my Maddie in that she's confident but not showy, slight of build, light as a feather, a one person girl but open to exploring others, unafraid, but quite discerning. Her person agrees!!
Amber has opened up to me in the past couple of coverage stretches. Last night and this morning she asked for contact, approached and enjoyed. (we both celebrated her gifting). She's quite the vocalist, too! Her housemate, Van Gogh (VG) needs flovent inhaler and they ALL have to wait for their dinner 15 min after he gets his puffer. 15 minutes of song 🎶💕. Good food, great company, momma's coming home today! 🙌👏🤘
I have wondered if there was a cat in this wide world who would use this couch shaped scratcher as a couch. Leave it to Patchouli 😁
Harry says "... Wait. What? When? Today? They're coming home today??" It's been two long weeks and he's in the home stretch. Motor man is a purr factory 🦁😁. I think he knows'🕺😻🎶
More Moxie... I love her coat and colors 🎨
Sometimes it's crazy simple to know how y'all play with your kits. Harry led the way my first day back with him and now it's standard fare 🎉🎶👏 (if you need a purr fix, listen in at the end 😻).
Hehe... New client, Moxie in a box 😁🎉😸
Hehehe! Harry! I haven't seen him for a bunch of months so this visit is especially fun. He's gained a couple of ounces but is super happy nonetheless 😜. (Miss Kitty's Cat House Alumnus aka Sunny!).
RIP, Yoda. Your peeps and I know you, still. I see you 💜
Yoda got shy for the camera. I've loved getting to know the Persian breed a little bit with hands on. He and his sister are expecting their person home TOMORROW. They are two very smart, amazing kitties, in warm, softly furred, kind hearted, compact bodies 🦁
I'll be way outta town October 23-29. Fyi. Isn't it cool that the only days free for travel include Mom's 92nd birthday? 💖 🎂 🎉🎶👏🎈 {Mom}
I do have some amazing back up pet sitters I can recommend if you've sitting needs for those days. The best one is already booked (watching my 3🦁🦁🦁🤓✌️). Thanks, everyone 💕
It's feeling like October is a great time to visit Mom and Sis so I'm calling all October travelers 🔊... If you would get your travel dates to me, I'll be able to fill in the blanks with my own!
Thanks bunches (mom loves the wild roses that grow seaside in New England. That's where I'll be headed 💖).

Just in case "I won't be able to travel" is a deal breaker for you, I have sat with fosters and house pets for the same price. We can talk about a special deal for first time fosters, too. Get started 🦁🎶🐾🎉
When you foster, you agree to take a homeless cat into your home and give him or her love, care and attention for X amount of time. Learn more about fostering a cat here.

We really do talk about you when you're not home!! Hehe! I love this opinionated, confident, smart (which goes without saying!), older creamsickle tiger girl. It's fun to see how her life has settled since the winter holidays. As we know, everything changes and I'm grateful to be a part of hers 🦁✌️
Of birds and cats and windows 🐱🐧 This is Abby who I came to visit this morning. She had something to show me after she met me at the door. Birdie eventually righted herself and flew a weaving and confused looking pattern away into the day. I wish her well! Have you things you do or know that help decrease bird strike on your windows? I've had quite a few at home and am looking around. I'll keep you in the loop! We do brighten each other's days in so many ways ❤️
Humidity 23%, dew point 12... Hehe. Memories of my brother Geoff, a balloon, and fly away hair 🎈⚡️. Everything's energy! Even a giggle, I think 😻😻🎉 Polly and Hondo were foster kittens of Miss Kitty's Cat House nearly 3 years ago, if my timing is right...
I find horses and cats are so similar in a number of sweet ways. Catch them if you can 😊. Go team! (The last few seconds of the vid make me chuckle every time 😁). The young chestnut gelding was curious about Maddie as she stalked birds coming and going on the fence and when she came back around close to him, Little Sister joined. Maddie's met quite a few horses in her 20 months but Sissy, 8 months, and with us for the last 3, has not. These are her first and I think she's beginning to understand. ❤ Fyi, these 11 horses live in a herd next door. All are 'rescues'. We each with stories still being written 😊
