Miss Kitty's Cat House Miss Kitty’s Cat House is a volunteer-operated cat rescue in Prescott, Arizona. Approximately 20 cats live and play here until they get adopted.

Miss Kitty's Cat House is a small non-profit, no-kill cat rescue and adoption facility, solely operated by volunteers and donations. We have been granted 501(c)(3) status by the I.R.S. Miss Kitty's is located in a small house at 302 N Alarcon Street in Prescott, Arizona, where approximately 20 adult cats live and play until they are adopted, with a waiting list for cats to come in when there are v

acancies. The cats roam free in the house and are cared for by a variety of dedicated volunteers. The house is at the NW intersection of Sheldon and Alarcon in Prescott. When you visit Miss Kitty's you will meet all of our cats on neutral ground. We shelter cats of all ages and backgrounds. We have cats whose humans have either passed away or are otherwise unable to care for them, rescued cats who were born feral and who have been socialized, or formerly abandoned or abused pets. We also have other adult cats and kittens in foster homes in the Prescott area. The number varies from 50 to 75, depending upon how many fosters are available.

Update on Midnight now known as Nyota. She is so funny and such a love bug. She talks, squeaks and meows at people all the time. We get such a kick out of her. She fits in 100 percent with the family. We all adore her.

JASMINE is a 1-year-old female tabby. She was found as a stray, but is as sweet as can be. JASMINE loves to play with cat toys and snuggle on a warm welcoming lap. She is ready for her new forever home. JASMINE is current on vaccinations, tested negative for FeLV/FIV is spayed and microchipped.

Miss Kitty's Cat House Pet of the Week!!!

MISTER & TABITHA are 8-year-old orange tabbies. They are both very friendly, playful and loving lap cats. Mister & Tabitha are good nappers & like to sleep together. This sister & brother duo are stunning in appearance with gorgeous green eyes. They are a bonded pair and need to be adopted together. They will do best as the only cats in the home and will make wonderful companions for a lucky family. Tabitha has diabetes and is on a once daily medication that is given with her wet food. She also eats a specific dry food. This sweet pair is waiting to meet you.

Today, SMOKIE found her forever home with a loving mom who can’t wait to shower her with attention. She’ll be the only pet, enjoying all the love and care she deserves. 💞
MADDIE met her new mom and dad on Saturday, and today they made it official by signing the papers! She now has a loving family and a cozy home where she can roam freely and play to her heart’s content. 💞

I got Chester (formerly Charlie) and Little One (formerly Sasha) from MKCH in 2011. I was told they were a packaged deal as they bonded at MKCH. So even though I was only looking for one cat, I took them both! They have been best pals the whole time! It took Chester 3 years and Little One 5 years to start sitting on my lap but now I can't sit down without both of them cuddling in my lap (see pics). They are about 15 years old now and doing well, despite losing a lot of teeth. I recently took in two young strays (Oliver and Leroy) that showed up in my backyard in early 2024. Chester and Little One are holding their own with these young cats! And Oliver has joined Chester and Little One in my lap!

Pet of the week - ROO is an adorable 7-year-old long haired dilute tortoiseshell with the most beautiful eyes and a precious little meow. She came to Miss Kitty's after her owner passed away. ROO is now ready for her new forever loving home. She is very sweet, enjoys a warm welcoming lap and loves attention. ROO also enjoys having her beautiful coat brushed. ROO would do best as the only cat in the home. She is current on vaccinations, tested negative for FeLV/FIV and is spayed.
