Welcome to new girl Annie. You can read the plea below from last night at 10 o’clock. I wasn’t going to take more dogs right now but I couldn’t leave her there in that situation by 1245. She was up here in Prescott. Thanks to amazing miracle transporter Wendell that is willing to drop everything and run to get a dog in need. I seriously could not do it without him. Annie is now here on a soft surface. She has had two large meals some medicine and she is ready for her first night of good sleep. Everyone thought she didn’t have a long to live, but I think otherwise. My guess is she has a very severe Cushing’s and she will be up and running in no time…literally. she’s going to be one of the miracles. It always helps to heal my heart a little bit to go help another old dog in need. Welcome Annie to the rest of your life.

IT'S FLANNEL FRIDAY AGAIN! HERE ARE 3 NEW CHOICES THIS WEEK!

3. SOLD!!! The blue/gray/army is a medium LEGENDARY WHITETAILS flannel featuring Nubbins and his famous "Nub". One of my personal favorites.

Here’s how it works:
1. Check the Dogtree Pines Facebook or Instagram page at 9 AM on Friday morning.
2. Two flannels will be listed each Friday with size photos, and even a live video modeling by one of our favorite Volunteers. (that’s a reason to check on its own) 🤣🤣🤣
3. If you see a flannel that you would like, comment “I’ll take it” in the comment section. The first one that says “I’ll take it” gets the shirt, PLEASE SPECIFY WHICH SHIRT.
4. You can pay via our website as a tax deductible donation. Flannels are $50. Pick up at sanctuary is free. Shipping is $6.
Every design features a sanctuary dog from Dogtree and is hand printed and/or hand sewn here at the sanctuary. We take a lot of pride and what we do even down to the matching thread. These have been a very popular item and will be fantastic Christmas presents with a good intention behind them. They may even come with a little dog glitter which we do not charge extra for 🤣.

Meet Sterling!!! he is absolutely adorable. He came and moved in with a pack immediately and has had no issues at all. Our vet thinks he is 13 years old rather than 15, which is good because we have a little bit more time with him. He looks like your so we dressed him up in an outfit and he just let us do anything we wanted. He’s so easy-going and such a love bug seeking out love from every new person that walks into the sanctuary. Cara, you named him perfectly!!!
