Dogs are being broken down every single day.
Not because their bodies are failing them…
but because we are asking their bodies to survive on things they were never designed to handle long-term.
🔹 Ultra-processed kibble
🔹 Repeated vaccines without foundational support
🔹 Chronic medications to suppress symptoms
🔹 And diets that do not provide the raw materials the body needs to repair itself
Digestion alone is one of the most energy-expensive processes in the body.
Now imagine forcing a dog to digest ultra-processed food every day, year after year — food stripped of natural enzymes, moisture, and bioavailable nutrients.
That energy has to come from somewhere.
So instead of:
✔ repairing tissues
✔ regulating the immune system
✔ healing the gut
✔ maintaining skin, joints, organs
The body is stuck in constant survival mode.
And here’s the part that breaks my heart the most…
I get calls every single week from people who did everything they were told to do:
• They trusted the clinic
• They followed prescription diets
• They gave the meds
• They didn’t question the advice
And by the time they reach out to me…
their dog is almost gone.
💔 The body is too depleted
💔 The gut is too damaged
💔 The immune system has been suppressed for too long
💔 The organs are failing
Food is not “just food.”
Food is information.
Food is repair.
Food is support.
And no — most professionals are not educated in real, species-appropriate nutrition.
They’re taught what the few food reps who walk through the clinic doors teach them.
That doesn’t make them bad people.
But it does leave dogs paying the price.
👉 We don’t need to wait until a dog is “sick enough” to change their diet.
👉 We don’t need to wait for organ failure, autoimmune disease, or chronic allergies.
We need to educate earlier.
We need to feed better.
We need to support the body before it breaks.
Because once the body is given the right tools —
it wants to heal. 🐾💙
If your dog is struggling and you feel like you’re running out of options…
you’re not alone — and it’s not too late to ask better questions.
