The Diamond A Ranch, also known as The Big Boquillas, is the largest cattle ranch today in Arizona. It was originally the headquarters for the VVV Livestock Company that encompassed over half of Northern Arizona, running 30,000 cows and 1500 horses.

The ranch covers 750,000 acres and stretches 75 miles beginning at the town of Seligman, Arizona, and ending at the South Rim of the Grand Canyon.

A strong commitment to ranching heritage and preserving the land, livestock, and wildlife habitats still remain priorities for the ranch today.

Rick’s father and grandfathers nurtured a deep passion for raising and finishing high-quality beef as well as producing exceptional Quarter Horses. Rick and Sarah continue this legacy with a refreshed vision for the K4 business opportunities.

In addition to the original K4 Ranch located north of Prescott, Arizona, Cholla Livestock, LLC (pronounced “Cho ya”) has been managing the renowned 725,000-acre Diamond A Ranch in Seligman, Arizona, since 1982. The legendary meat packer and cattleman, Harvey Dietrich, was a close friend and mentor to Rick. In 2018, Harvey invited Rick to become a partner at Cholla Livestock. Following Harvey's passing two years later, Rick and Sarah acquired the remaining interest.
