I apologize to my clients for being so quiet the past couple months. Unfortunately I have had some complications with the broken elbow which I will hopefully have answers for soon. I’m hoping to be able to see some clients within the next couple weeks before I’m out for my planned shoulder surgery. Thank you all for your patience!

This mare is one of my regular clients. Most recently she unfortunately had an accident and hurt her leg. As you can see before, she was out of alignment with her hips with a hip hike R-L. After her massage her hips significantly opened up her hips and she’s much straighter and hopefully feeling much better

Good luck to my clients showing at CCBA championship show tomorrow! I will be back tomorrow if anyone would like to get on my list.

Both of these horses are monthly clients and even on a monthly basis, our bodies change and so do our horses.

The horse on the right initially did not want to stand straight and was very tight in both his lower neck/shoulders and his hips/SI. We did a quick saddle check while I was at the show and made some adjustments so he should hopefully be feeling much looser going into showing tomorrow.

The horse on the left has had a history of a hip hike L-R and while not as significant tonight as in the past, he really opened up his hips in the after picture which will help him open up and be able to push with that hind end.

I had the pleasure of massaging this mare for the first time this past weekend. As you can see from before and after, she was quite crooked in both her face(TMJ/Poll were very tight) as well as her hips(lower back/SI were sore/tight and out of alignment). She has been out of work for a while now due to a previous injury. Now that she is looser and straighter she will be feeling much better getting back into work.

I have availability for the month of August/September before I have my shoulder surgery. We are getting into the end of show season, let’s see what we can do to keep those athletes performing their best!

Polly had her pre horse show massage last night. She was holding most of her tension in her shoulders and pecs. As you can see from the first picture it completely changed the angle and way she was holding herself with her front legs. She’s definitely much more relaxed in the second picture and ready for a full weekend at New England Pinto

Taking limited clients for July/August! Unfortunately I was recently diagnosed with a tear in my shoulder and am pending surgery. Because of this, I cannot massage see as many clients as normal. Please reach out to get on my list and I will keep all clients posted with how much time I will be out when I have a surgery date!

This mare is feeling much better after her massage. She’s younger and still growing. Because of that she was incredibly tight on her right side and was even pulling her tail to the right. While after she wasn’t perfect, she made a ton of improvement and is much more even after

It’s not just our show athletes that need massages. Our older horses need even more TLC most times. Elliot is 33 and had his first massage tonight. You can see that he definitely benefited and had some incredible releases

Why I love to take before and after shots! This horse was having trouble in his lesson bending around tighter circles. You can see before his massage he had a pretty significant hip hike with his left side being much lower. Post massage he really released and is much more even. He is getting adjusted by the chiropractor today and will give another massage post chiropractic work and have him feeling his best before show season begins

Nice relaxing day massaging horses! It’s not too early to start thinking about show season, those muscles are bound to be sore after some time off for the winter.
