In addition to being a critical tool for the balanced horse, half-halts are like sit ups for horses. They coil momentum back and into the air by asking the horse to engage the belly and lift the back, resulting in stronger topline. That topline helps horses execute their half halts more easily, and it’s a beautiful positive spiral for a healthier, sounder and more adjustable horse 💪🏻
