Rusty is a gentle giant looking for his forever family. He was found as a stray and sadly never claimed by his family, which is so sad because he is the best boy. He is a Great Pyrenees mix who wants nothing more than to lay at your feet. He is a very calm, low energy dog, although he does have his excited puppy moments, but they don’t last long. He loves kids and gets attached to “his people” quickly. Because of his large size he would probably do best in a home without small children or frail people, but he is just a little clumsy, not aggressive at all. He has done great with most animals, although he does like to chase rabbits. He is afraid of cats but gets along with them ok. He would make an excellent farm dog. He hates kennels, has broken out of fences, and cries when his favorite people leave the room, but he has never wondered away from his foster home. He isn’t a fan of car rides but his foster family has been working on it with him. He loves to be outside and loves to be with people. He has been neutered, is up to date on shots, is microchipped, in very good health and about 2 years old. Adoption fee $30. Loving homes only!
