Its always sad and nostalgic when we hear of one of our adopted dogs that has passed away after many years with their adoptive parents. They are so loved that they want to let us know about their passing and how much joy and love they brought to them. Ellie aka "Ellie about Town" is one of those special girls. She recently passed and had a special place in her parents hearts. She often visited CAWL on her birthdays and brought us cupcakes, desserts, donations, and to celebrate another year. Yesterday, her parents brought us a bag of coins that, when they would take Ellie for walks, they would find them, and she saved them in baggies dated for the years. They donated that in memory of Ellie 💓. We want to say Thank you to Ellie's parents and to all the adopters who so love the dogs adopted from us. Although, we are sad, we love hearing the stories and how much joy they brought to you. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
