Attention! We're heading into Wales today and meeting with a local whistle/crook maker on Wednesday evening. If anyone of my USA friends or students would like me to pick up a whistle set let me know, he makes natural horn and other materials with lanyards. Cost varies but the horn with leather lanyard is $70 for the set.

Wish doing tunnel work and introducing sheep at the indoor today! lots of new smells and room for puppy zoomies! He's starting to watch more and check in with me in the process, all about building confidence!

Hanging out inside with Wish today, he is a collector of the toys and very much loves his snuggles! He's keen and looking to hook up with his human and get to work. I have transport options through Wisconsin to Chicago area in a few weeks as well as south to Texas end of the month. He's a big framed boy that I'm suspecting will have a medium coat.

The 3 remaining puppies from the Jack x Sniper litter are officially in boot camp. We have 2 males and 1 female 👀 to move.... these 3 show incredible promise, thinkers and doers. This is Gravy, forsure wanting his own person to go work some stock with!
All 3 are doing fabulous in their crates, potty training this group has been a breeze, getting to know leash manners, one on one recalls and they're currently in foundation agility every Wednesday evening. If you are local to us first year of stock lessons is pro-bono. Help spread the word for these fantastic pups!

Reach out ASAP with your interest, right now working spots are closed to current students and past attendees, if we do not fill we will open up in April to outside teams. IF you would like to eventually get in a working spot we highly encourage auditing this clinic.

"Cinnamon" was my pick of the litter, but when the Herbels contacted me after they had a rough whelping of their own i knew exactly what we needed to do... welcome "Quinn" to the dream team at XP RANCH, she and Kent have a bright future together. I am honored to have her in such capable hands!

So today was suppose to be nice, until it wasn't... glad we got out with the crew before the Temps dropped and wind picked up! Here is sire Jack showing his pups how it's done. I'm not looking for anyone to kick on and wow me at this age, considering this was only their 3rd time out by the pens and it's been cold, random moments of that deep border collie instinct are starting to show through though!

We will be bringing the puppy crew to the kennel over in Clear Lake for a few hours of indoor play time tomorrow due to the sub zero temperatures. If anyone who is interested in one, you are welcome to join us for a meet and greet just reach out.

Mama's home! The Thanksgiving litter is officially 2 weeks old, they're learning their voices and getting their legs under them, eyes are opening as well. ..Mama's appreciating her alone time more and more these days too. We're having fun working on putting together our puppy packs as well, they're going to have done awesome perks! As of today we have 2 females and 4 males left, puppy contracts have been getting sent out. If you've expressed interest and haven't gotten your contract let me know. They'll be ready to go after January 22nd. These guys should be stellar all around performance prospects and of course herding :)

The crew enjoyed getting out into the field this evening, snacking on fresh grass shoots along the ditches and cleaning up the cobs. Full day of working dogs with great company.
