This holiday season, join us for a unique and educational experience at ForteBella Equestrian!

We’re offering Horsemanship Clinics for adults, and we’d love for YOU to be a part of it!

Whether you’re a beginner eager to start riding, an intermediate rider wanting to expand your skills, or a parent supporting your child’s passion, these clinics are perfect for all levels.

Learn about horses, horse riding, and equestrian sports

Hands-on experience with qualified trainers
3-hour sessions from 9 AM to 12 PM each week (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year!)

An educational activity tailored for each student and no need of child care because in the same time frame we will also host a Horse Riding Camp for kids so It’s the perfect opportunity to bond with your loved ones while learning the beauty of horsemanship in a peaceful, welcoming environment. 🌿🐴

We’re excited to welcome Rachael Ternes as the newest member of the ForteBella Team!🙌✨

Rachael will be joining us as our assistant trainer of ForteBella Academy, specializing in beginners, hunters, and jumpers programs. Her expertise and enthusiasm will undoubtedly enrich the experience for all of us.

Rachael Ternes has been passionate about horses from an early age, having grown up on a cattle ranch near Tulsa, OK. After beginning formal riding lessons at age 8, her love for jumping and showing quickly blossomed. Over the years, Rachael has had the privilege of training with renowned professionals such as Julie Winkle, Joe Fargis, and Bernie Taurig, and has successfully competed in the Hunter, Jumper, and Equitation divisions across the U.S., including prestigious venues like KY Horsepark, Tryon, and Lamplight Chicago.

Specializing in teaching riders of all ages and skill levels, from beginners to advanced, Rachael focuses on building confidence, independence, and sportsmanship in a personalized, fun, and safe environment. She also has a deep passion for working with green and young horses, creating individualized training programs that emphasize consistency, confidence, and empathy. Believing that horses perform their best when they feel their best, Rachael makes it a priority to understand and nurture each horse’s unique personality.

Currently, Rachael trains and competes with a variety of sale and client horses, while coaching students at local shows. She remains eager to continue growing as both a rider and trainer.

2024 Eclipse Party at ForteBella Equestrian 🌙

Come join us on Monday April 8th to assist at the magical moment of the total solar eclipse ✨

Music, Italian food catered by , horses and nature ✨

Eclipse timing - the partial eclipse starts at 12:24pm, when the moon will just start covering the sun. The totality (sudden complete darkness) will start at 1:42pm, and will stay dark for 3 minutes 29 seconds, after which at 1:45pm 28 seconds it will start gradually get lighter like a sunrise 🌅

ForteBella will be open to the public from 10am to allow everybody to arrive on time since traffic will be intense.

CARLOS SALGUERO

Carlos is a Grand Prix dressage trainer located in Northern Houston. He is a third generation horse trainer from Southwest Spain. He began training horses at 16 years old and branched into a broad variety of disciplines. He trained and competed in Doma Vaquera (a Spanish discipline similar to Dressage) for many years before moving to Houston, TX. Since then he has been training horses in Dressage and has become a premier Dressage trainer in Northern Houston.

A firm believer in establishing a connection between horse & rider, Carlos Salguero will help elevate and progress your horse both in ability and mentality. Carlos specializes in taking difficult horses and turning them into calm and confident upper-level dressage horses that are safe for all levels of riders. He can often be seen putting his 4 year old son on top of the horses he trains.
