Meet Scooter!
During his annual exam this year, Dr. Montgomery recommended a Canine Health Screen Panel. His owner agreed and the test was sent out. When the results came back, it was discovered that Scooter has Cushing’s Disease. This causes Scooter’s body to produce too much Cortisol. He is now on medication to help control this condition and help him live a longer and healthier life.
Without this screening panel, Scooter’s Cushing’s Disease may not have been noticed until he was in bad shape, which could’ve been more costly and stressful for him and his owner. Ask about the screening panels at your pet’s annual visits!
